On Friday we invited @prettygirlsliketrapmusicparty to curate a special lineup to celebrate International Women’s Day. w/ acts by: Claire Lyons, 99H99D Soundsystem (Les Fleurs du Mal & Kara), and Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Soundsystem (DJ Imani & MC Fuegoomamii).

Saturday we have @kurashi.collective hosting their first WD-40 Party at the club. With not only music and live performances from → Kim V, Juny Martina (live) + Bulgar Release, DJ Lele and Kurashi Soundsystem,
but also salsa and dancehall classes, tooth gems by @95gems and nail art by @paintedby.nadine & @chey.nailed.it

Here’s what went down last month at @hem.homebase

We saw 10 talented performers, from Dj’s to already established and upcoming artists performing on stage.

@backroadgee and Mad Professor visited Zaandam all the way from the UK. We heard
DJ sets of @LiveAtTheBbqams residents @jerrau__ , @baoguccii , Garnett and @jarmenus . @blck.mmba made her way from Belgium and ofcourse Homebase residents @djmathieux , @fabs.075 , @reannyhortencia and @elllajohn had to be on the stage as well

Good weather and good vibes from the BBQ spot provided by @liveatthebbqams. Inside, local streetwear brands showcased their collections accompanied by the skaters at the @CLCP.skate pop-up

@elllajohn, the initiator of Homebase, always wanted to create something for the community to come together through music. This is the result of all the pieces she put together and will be the first of many other initiatives so stay tuned.

In collaboration with Subway we’re bringing you a new area: Amazonia x Subway. An area created and ran by women. With music by some of the best female DJ’s the Netherlands has to offer. In their extended sets they will showcase their musical talents and unique personalities with music varying from Hiphop, to Dancehall, Afro, Latin House and everything in between. Come and see who runs the world at the Amazonia x Subway stage.
