What an amazing summer!

okay fine it’s my turn to do the end of the summer recap post

gonna get slightly sappy but to say the least this was such an experience that I’ll never forget, and will be forever grateful for. The people, experiences, sight seeing, and community I was apart of is one that has taught me a lot about myself.

I wish I had more pictures to go forward / post, but instead I’ll pass along some of the wisdom I’ve acknowledged / will adapt into my daily life going forward.

•Just do it, most of the things we want to accomplish in life sometimes seem so difficult, overthinking it is the death of you and your dreams, just say fuck it and go do that thing you want to do.

•Shake every hand you encounter, there are 10 Billion people in the world, and that one encounter with someone can be life changing, wether you blossom into a beautiful relationship, friendship, or even acquaintance / client, can change your whole trajectory about how you live your life from even such a simple interaction.

•Planning your life out is a blessing and a curse. If you asked me exactly one year ago how I’d be spending my 26’ Summer, I for sure wouldn’t have said this. Planning creates such a high expectation for your life, thinking about every single decision you’ll make in your life distracts you from really living life. Whether it’s a financial plan, housing, what you’re gonna eat for dinner tonight, or literally what you plan on doing today, everything can change & it may not be in your control. The world is your oyster, but an acceptance of “going with the flow” along side that mind set is the perfect recipe to live a fulfilling life.

There is so much more to be said, but I feel as if this is some of the most important things to be said. Thank you Priest Lake, thank you to all my loved ones from Maine who support me from a distance, and to my new friends I’ll always cherish.

Can’t wait to be back next year gassing up more boats and being apart of such an awesome community.
