En 2010, nous avions créé une page Myspace entièrement pimpée pour la sortie de Nightcall. Je me souviens encore de la mise en ligne du morceau, du compteur d’écoutes que l’on scrutait sans arrêt, de l’excitation et des tout premiers retours… Seize ans plus tard, Myspace n’existe plus, mais les JPG sont toujours sur mon serveur, soigneusement rangés sous le nom « MSKAV ». Et puis, bien sûr, il y a eu cette mémorable release party… Je pense que les organisateurs s’en souviennent encore ! Aujourd’hui, 31 juillet, je suis retombé sur ce dessin de « Kav l’Éponge », que je lui avais envoyé pour ses 35 ans… Bref, un mec jusqu’au-boutiste, qui aura réussi à pousser son concept jusqu’à son paroxysme. Maintenant, on attend tous le prochain morceau…

Back in 2010, we created a fully customized Myspace page to mark the release of *Nightcall*. I still remember when the track went live, the play count we kept checking non-stop, the excitement and the very first reactions… Sixteen years on, Myspace no longer exists, but the JPGs are still on my server, neatly filed under the name ‘MSKAV’. And then, of course, there was that memorable release party… I'm sure the organisers still remember it! Today, 31 July, I stumbled across this drawing of ‘Kav the Sponge’, which I’d sent him for his 35th birthday… In short, a man who goes all the way, who’s managed to take his concept to its absolute limit. Now, we’re all waiting for the next track…

Clara was the first sailor, I think we took this picture fourteen years ago or so. Before I had published any books, before NAÏVY existed as a series. We spent the day walking and walking and taking photo after photo. In the evening, we would look at pictures from my recent trip to China, before ‘Middle Point Between My House and China’. Thank you to Clara and to all my seaters who let me take a part of them and translate into a part of my universe.

It feels moving to come to Hong Kong to find this photo in the South China Morning Post.

Thank you for all the visits, all the press, all the kind words. I’m so grateful and humbled. My art is nothing without your soul appreciating it.

Sabato 1 novembre 2025, dalle 15:00 alle 6:00, NAMA diventa epicentro di una trasformazione sonora firmata @alzayarecords : un luogo dove la musica non accompagna, ma conduce.

Tre forze creative si incontrano per scrivere un nuovo capitolo della club culture italiana: Alzaya Records, etichetta milanese che ha fatto del suono un linguaggio di libertà, intrecciando techno, jazz, ambient e visioni utopiche; NR Magazine, rivista semestrale nata a Londra e ora con sede a Milano, che esplora i territori fluidi tra arte, design, cinema e musica; e Mega Basic, il club format della label NormCore, comunità sonora nata nel 2018 e capace di trasformare ogni evento in un rito di connessione e inclusività.

Questa alleanza dà vita a una maratona di 15 ore di suono e visioni: un flusso ininterrotto che attraversa la techno, il dub, la bass e la sperimentazione, costruendo un racconto corale della contemporaneità elettronica. @odd_shy_guy mind behind Normcore, deep bass, broken rhythms, and bold journeys across dubstep, electronic, d’n’b. Expect a raw, intimate bass-driven journey.
@nicodemo_ will kick off the night through his hypnotic and energy-laden performance. Synth tracks, percussive sounds and disco grooves.
@anastasia.kristensen described as a force of nature for her destabilizing approach to techno, will perform b2b with @volantis__ co-founder of Alzaya, standout figure in the Italian club scene.
