Every year, Annecy reminds us why animation is such a unique medium.

For one week, filmmakers, artists, producers and studios from around the world gather to share films, exchange ideas and imagine what’s next. Beyond the screenings, it’s the conversations, the encounters and the creative energy that make this festival so special.

This year, Temple Caché was represented by our founders and directors @kelzang.ravach and @marion_castera and our Agent @marie_csra, alongside our special guest, director and animator @claraliu_. It was a pleasure to spend the week meeting collaborators, discovering new voices and discussing the projects shaping tomorrow’s animation.

A special thank you to our productions in France and the US, @eddyanimation.tv and @psyop, for their continued support and for all the meaningful conversations throughout the week. We’re grateful to have such great partners by our side.

We’re also honoured that Last Dance With Mary Jane was selected in the Commissioned Films category. Thank you to the @annecyfestival for this recognition, and congratulations to @illogicstudios on their Cristal Award for Mal Aimé.

Congratulations as well to our friends at @eddycinema and @lclichy for the Jury Prize and Audience Award for “Le Corset”.

We’re grateful to be part of this community and are already looking forward to what’s next.

Until next year.

Annecy… what a joy, once again.

As an animation studio, the Annecy Festival truly is the place to be. A week full of inspiring screenings, meaningful conversations, and reunions with friends from across the industry.

This year, our COO @marie_csra and our producer @alix_ctnd represented the studio at MIFA. As always, a huge thank you to @laregionoccitanie for welcoming us to their booth and supporting us year after year.

We’re also incredibly proud that Last Dance With Mary Jane was selected in the Commissioned Films category. A big thank you to the festival for this recognition.

And congratulations to our friends at @illogicstudios for winning the Cristal Award for Mal Aimé, so well deserved!

Annecy is also about the people who make this industry so special. Special mention to @runwiththegoldenwolf, @were_collective, @illogicstudios, @wizzdesign, @eddyanimation.tv, @jungler.tv, @woodblock.studio, @ramandjafari, @_lola.lefevre_, @osmoze_art, @lucas.gllt (our former 2D intern), @menhir_fx, @junky_cream, @antoine_gll, @bountybanana and so many more for all the great conversations. It’s always a pleasure catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way.

A big thank to everyone we met throughout the week; for the spontaneous coffees, the conversations, the laughs, and the sketches you left in our SC sketchbooks. Thanks, too, for letting us doodle in yours, we’ll treasure them.

We’re heading home inspired, re-energized, and more excited than ever to keep creating.

Thank you, @annecyfestival, for bringing together so many talented people in such an incredible setting, year after year.

See you next year!

SAMEDI
