Happy New Year to one and all !
17 portraits in one hour to 14 tracks of music on the first day of 2026 !
Many thanks to Kirsty @pencils4tea for the hosting , music, poses and all who keep the show on the road.
Here I'm using a catalogue I picked up in the summer from an exhibition I saw in Montpellier to scribble in.

Lovely start to the week with @drawingisfree_org. Not sure how I feel about my drawings today, but it was good therapy to take a creative hour nonetheless. Thank you, Chloe for hosting and the fab playlist, and thanks and sorry to all who posed.

➡️Catastrophe turned great…?

This is a second artjournal spread I made for wanderlust class 30 with @claredavisetheridge and I looove how it turned out!

A big part of this class was to make image transfers, and this is not my cup of tea. I really enjoy seeing other doing them, but I don’t have the patience to sit and remove the paper and I always rub too hard and remove part of the images. As I started this spread I wasn’t happy with it at all, but as I continued working on it it actually grew on me and now I’m really pleased with it! Even if some of the image transfers are missing some bigger pieces 😂

🟠 I’m feeling very inspired to catch up on some wanderlust classes from @everythingartuk
I’ve fallen behind about 10 weeks, but I’m really happy to be back doing them now!

🔴 This one is week 30 with @claredavisetheridge and I really enjoyed playing with words, making image transfers and doing some markmaking with water soluble pens.
