An intro for those who are newish here. I’m Peggy of Nohdomi Design. Photo above, not sure how I feel about getting older and taking photos. But here I am, wrinkles and puffy under eyes, zit on my nose for ya. Hey, aging gracefully has been a bit of an eye openers, literally. Anywho, this is a where I display my creative self. All exploration and play, and also some work in design. I’m a brand & package designer by profession of almost three decades. I freelance for design studios in the NY area, remote from Vancouver. I also take on small business projects, working on logos etc. I only take a few projects a year, as most of my time is spent taking care of the family, and trying to stay healthy and sane as I navigate mid-life. I dabbled in pottery in art school at university while studying design, and again for a few years while living in nyc. It’s not til 2022 I picked it up again and devoted a lot of time into it as a way of getting back into the fine arts part of my life. I didn’t think it would really take off the way it did, though I am in no way a production potter nor do I do markets nor sell online. But I do custom orders and people ask to purchase my work, and that’s enough for me to handle. I enjoy knowing who my customers are, so that’s why I’m a slow maker. I hope as I grow and evolve as a potter, I can exhibit in galleries and museums. Talk about long term goals. I picked up calligraphy & lettering in 2020, as I’ve always wanted to learn it properly to incorporate into my design work. Forward to today, I’ve done various workshops over the years & still have lots to learn. At first, it was just a way to express myself & a meditative way to write inspiration quotes & verses. Then, it just naturally meld into my pottery. Writing calligraphy on my pottery is what I’m kinda known for now. But let’s see how it all evolves from here. So much to explore still. If you’re into tattoos, my arms were designed & inked by @claritycreature , she did the Phoenix, lotus flowers, doves, and cherry blossoms. “Blessed” tattoo I designed, & it was inked by lelechan. Fun fact: Working out and tennis are also my jam. #vancouvercalligrapher #vancouverpotter

2025: A year filled with lots of moments. My dad ended his fight with cancer. I still think of him every day. I turned 30, still dunno how I feel about that yet 🤣. Body is feeling amazing. Exercising consistently with lots of weights and sprinting. Business is great. I have an amazing group of athletes that I get to work with to everyday, and I’m forever thankful. Watching everyone grow together in this community has been a blessing. I got the chance to travel Europe and go to the biggest music festival in the world…. I’m sure there’s lots of other stuff I’m missing but I’ll leave it at that. I’m excited to do even more this year, push past my limits, and live life to the fullest with those around me. Here’s to 2026 🫶🏾🎉🫡🙌🏽 #happynewyear #heresto2026

Happy new year 🥳🤍 I am so grateful for this life. When things feel overwhelming, I give my inner gremlin perspective by reminding myself we are on a rock hurling through space lol. That it’s a miracle each and every one of us is here (talk about insane probabilities!!). That we are all connected by nature of the human experience, politics aside (ffs please put it aside). We’re all gonna die, we can’t take material goods to the grave. So lead with love and give people the benefit of the doubt. We experience life through our attention, and life is too short to waste it on the stuff that doesn’t serve us. Thanks for being here, I had so much fun making art for you this year 🥹 I wish you blessings in 2026! ✌️ and 🫶
