I truly don’t know where to start but just like that my volleyball career is over. From travel to sand to school volleyball, this sport has been such a big part of my life. I’m so thankful for the memories, friendships, and experiences that came with it. It’s hard knowing this chapter is over, but i’ll forever be grateful for the years I got to spend doing what I love❣️❣️ #senioryear #svvb

It’s such a weird feeling knowing that something that has been such a big part of my life for so long is now something I have to look back on instead of continue living. Volleyball has been so much more than just a sport to me. It’s been a place where I’ve grown, learned, made THE BEST friendships, and created memories that I know I’ll carry with me forever. It’s given me some of the happiest moments of my life, taught me lessons I’ll take with me long after I leave the court, and introduced me to people who have made this journey so special. Growing up, I never thought this would come to an end. I would give anything to go back and appreciate the little things a little more, whether it was the laughs before practice, the nerves before a game, the feeling of being out on the court, or simply getting to be surrounded by the girls who made this sport feel like so much more than a game. Every single one of these girls hold a special place in my heart and never wanted to spend these 4 years with anyone else besides them. To my teammates, thank you for being such a special part of my life and for making this experience something I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful for every memory, every laugh, every challenge, and every moment we got to share. I’ll always be proud of what we’ve been a part of together and I hope you all know how much these years have meant to me. I never realized how much I took the little things for granted until I knew they were coming to an end and now I would give anything to go back and live those moments just one more time. As hard as it is to close this chapter, I’m trying to remind myself how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye this difficult. Not everyone gets to experience a sport that becomes such a big part of who they are and I will forever be thankful that I got to. Thank you volleyball for giving me a part of my life I will always look back on with so much love. I may be done playing but I will never stop being grateful that I got to be a part of this sport. THANK YOU SVVB 🧡 #signingoff

This sport has shaped me in ways I couldn’t have even imagined. It has taught me to be a good teammate, lead a team, be patient, and overall be a better person. Going back to the first time I touched a volleyball, I would’ve never thought such a simple thing could’ve impacted me as much as it did. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities and experiences that I’ve gained these past years. Girls that supported me through the good and the bad, coaches that believed in me no matter what, and families that I know I will always be able to fall back on if I need to. My last club season with @toledovbc was, without a doubt, my favorite season I have ever played. Being new to the team/club, the girls brought me in immediately with no hesitation. I’m not entirely sure I can fully express the level of appreciation I have for them. We clicked instantly and those girls will always be my best friends. I have always admired a certain standard of effort and how much an athlete should buy in, and the two coaches that I had, emulated that perfectly. That season was a big challenge for me as a person going out of my comfort zone but I am so happy I did. As for school volleyball, it was a place where I could play the sport that I loved with my best friends for four years straight. It might not have always been perfect, but it was such a joy to play with a team that is so close with each other. It taught me to realize what’s important, not to stress over things I can’t control, and at the end of the day to just have fun. Throughout all 4 years, Coach Elena’s trust and belief in me never wavered. She never told me to change or to be less, and I’m forever humbled because of her. Also, thank you to @_kassbrandon for always pushing me in the weight room and showing up for the program throughout the summer. You inspire me more than you know❤️. To my parents, absolutely none of this could’ve been possible without you guys, you both have been by my side every step of the way. And to my brothers for the endless conversations and pushing me to be my best. Volleyball has been such an emotional outlet for me and although that’s gone now, I will forever be chasing that high.

and just like that its all just a memory. looking back its crazy to think that the little moments i never thought twice about would become the ones i wish i could relive just one more time. the laughs, the tears, the late nights, the unforgettable moments, and even the hard times have all played a part in making these years so special and helped shape me into the person i am today. i couldnt be more grateful for all the memories and friendships i was able to gain! it’s bittersweet knowing that a chapter that once felt so long is now coming to an end, but i know a piece of my heart will always belong to these days and the people who made them so meaningful. if there’s one thing i’ve learned, it’s that growing up means holding on to moments you wish would last forever. i will always cherish these memories! thank you everyone for making this so special and hard to say goodbye too!

And just like that, a chapter of my life that I never wanted to end is over. Words can’t explain my love for this sport. From being a little girl falling in love with this sport to playing my final season as a senior, volleyball has been so much more than just a game to me. It’s given me some of my favorite memories, friendships, life lessons, and moments i’ll carry with me forever. It’s hard to say goodbye to something that’s been such a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. Forever grateful for the people, the memories, and the little girl who fell in love with volleyball all those years ago.
