I don’t feel confident shooting off the triple-pull.

This is from Stage 3 of the @nrlhunter Grand Slam finale match. It had decent sized bobcats at about 360yds. The trickiest part of this stage was finding the second one.

Thankfully we picked it up fairly quickly. Sometimes you just have to think - If I were an MD and dislike carrying steel up and down hills, where would I put it? Turns out that helped because the second one was just below the road kinda hidden in the shadows.

Back to the triple pull - any tricks to get more steady? Normally in a situation like this I’d go with double tripods instead.

BTW, If you’re seeing this on IG, make sure to follow. IG won’t recommend our full stage run reels to non-followers because of their length.

I’m pretty proud of how we handled this stage at the @nrlhunter Grand Slam season finale match.

The stage had four little raven targets between 300-350 yards with a fair amount of wind. It took us a bit to spot all four. We didn’t even get on the rifle until we were 2m30s in. But we stayed composed, spotted our misses, made good corrections and didn’t get rattled when time was running out. Is there room for improvement? Definitely. But not bad overall.

@clark_murphy264 and I can’t wait for next season!

If you’re not too far from western CO (Grand Junction), come out to the 1-day match at @cameoshootingcpw the last Saturday of November! Go to NRLHunter[dot]org and click the Games schedule for details.

The Short Bus Precision Talking Timer is finally here!

I created this because I wanted something smaller, louder, and simpler to use than the Sper ones so many of us have been using in @nrlhunter

I purposefully made this as simple as possible. Turn it on and it remembers whatever time you last set it to. Press the main button and it starts the countdown timer. It announces the time it starts at. When the timer is stopped, ends, or is turned off/on, it goes back to whatever time you last set it at. Basically, you should never have to change the time setting on it during a match.

It announces the time at every minute interval between 1 minute and 10 minutes. When under a minute it announces every 10 seconds. Then it counts down every second from 5 seconds.

You can get either a flat back (good for putting velcro on), a hat clip back, and a molle/strap clamp back (flat back + clamp).

Recharges via USB-C. @clark_murphy264 and I RO’d Price and used it non-stop for 2 days for every shooter without running out of battery.

I am providing the CAD files (via OnShape) if you guys want to create and print your own housings/accessories for it. It’s easily disassembled if you want to paint it or whatever else.

Clark and I used it all season. Check my shooting reels and you’ll see various prototype versions across the season.(Clark’s velroed to his muffs and hat clip for mine).

NRL Certified. Carnimore approved.

This XLR chassis just got the Carnimore treatment… built to disappear anywhere out West, but with Colorado specifically in mind.

Rock, timber, shadows, high country. A colorway designed to break up the rifle and blend into the terrain where it matters.

One of a kind. Every time.
