HUGE KICKOFF TO THE NORRA 500 BAJA COAST CHALLENGE! 🔥🏁

Ensenada showed up for FanFest, Contingency, and Tech Inspection as race teams rolled into downtown, fans got up close with the cars, and the Mack Johnson Classic Car Roundup brought classic Baja horsepower to Calle Rotario.

Then the action moved to qualifying, where Max Gordon put the SPEED UTV Bandit on top with a blistering 2:25.83.

Robby Gordon was right behind him in the SPEED UTV El Diablo at 2:26.16 — only .33 seconds off the fastest time of the day. That is a SPEED UTV 1–2 heading into race day!

Nick McPhee rounded out the overall top three and led Pro SXS 2000cc Naturally Aspirated in his Polaris Pro R with a 2:29.61. Stephen Beal was just .03 seconds behind in the Geiser G6, taking the 6100 Spec Truck top spot and fourth overall.

The Baja Coast Challenge is officially underway. Cars begin staging at 8:30 AM today, with the first truck leaving the Ensenada Arroyo start line at 9:00 AM.

Come feel the energy and watch the action at the public start and jump between 7th and 8th Street. Ensenada, let’s race! 🌊
