Back at it! Tried something new and then editing took a while to get to. Great to start off my 26-27 season this last September with the wonderful @calgaryphil @calgaryphilmusicians and the fantastic actors Thad and Andrew from @classicalkidslive . Grateful to reconnect with friends and connect with new people! Thank you @calgaryphil for having me back! Also am too old for allnighters 👵🏻 but I simply had no time before this concert to finish the work before the deadline. Can confirm I was a zombie for the next week 🧟‍♂️ #conductor #musicianlife #dayinthelife

This afternoon we learned about the life and music of the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven! Through the tales of young Christoph, performed by @classicalkidslive, the audience was taught patience and understanding when we meet someone that at first may seem grumpy and strange. Thank you to everyone who came to the first Symphony Sunday's for Kids concert of the 2026/2027 Season!

We can't wait to welcome back @classicalkidslive on Wednesday at our Dinner & Family concert, this time featuring their production of "Tchaikovsky Discovers America!" The Classical Kids Live! symphony concert series helps to enrich the communities that it serves through direct access to professional artists and productions, while fostering new appreciation for classical music and music history. Each production inspires audiences with more than twenty-five musical excerpts, which are woven into the drama as two professional actors share anecdotes and observations based on true incidents from the composer’s life. Last year's Classical Kids Live performance of "Beethoven Lives Upstairs" was a sold-out evening and loved by all ages! We can't wait for all our local families to experience what's in store for this year! There are still a limited amount of tickets available to next week's Dinner & Family Concert, but don't wait to get yours; this is an event that sells out year after year!
