12 Rounds with Brickcity Boxing Club

He started boxing to stand up for himself. Now he teaches everyone else how. 🥊

Joe “The Future” Hanks grew up in Newark, NJ, where he first laced up to learn how to protect himself. That kid went on to become a former undefeated heavyweight prospect, a 23-win pro with 15 knockouts, and an IBA Americas Heavyweight Champion.

Today, he’s bringing every lesson from the ring to BrickCity Boxing LA in Pasadena. 🏆

This isn’t just a gym. It’s a family. Our youngest boxer is 4. Our oldest is in his 70s. Whether you’re a total beginner, a seasoned fighter, or someone who just needs a place to let it all go, you belong here. Every body. Every ability. Every story. 💪🏾

We’ve been knocked down before, and this community picked us right back up. That’s what Brick City is about.

As Coach Joe says: “Boxing’s a lot cheaper than therapy.” 😉

Things we used to do in the 1900s...

1. Scrub clothes by hand for hours.
2. Crank your coffee by hand.
3. Spin a dial to call someone.
4. Typewriter: One typo = start over.
5. Roll hand wraps with a hand crank.
Wait... we still do this? Not anymore.

Welcome to 2026. Introducing the iWrap by Campmode. The world’s first wall-mounted electronic boxing hand wrap roller. Hand wraps, rolled perfectly. Every time. Prep less. Train more. 🥊
