Had some truly amazing adventures in the P1800 after not driving the old girl much last year. Driving a slightly under powered manual car from the 60's, that extremely driver focused, is something we all need to try.

I've never fitted in. Whether that be due to my height, my race, or my rather out there personality, i entered and comfortably sat in rooms where somebody like me just wasnt invited. I always stood out. This often occurred whether i liked it or not.

Being one of the first people of colour to enter the arena of Front office investment banking in the UK meant I was immediately never going to blend in. Let just say, it was challenging.

Did I embraced it. Absolutey
Did I challenge it. Absolutely
Did I give a t*ss. Absolutely not.

When "Flying Pigs" clashed with "Prancing Horses" recently @classicwise_

As the "Wild Boars" sampled the delights of this "Giallo Fly" Dino 208 GT4. Or is it a Ferrari?

As I wedged myself into this 70's Bertone designed beauty (see what I did there), this car with the identity crisis reminded me of another personal Ferrari story around misplaced indentity.

We all know the story of how Mr Ferrari, the more sophisticated constructor used "Garagista" as a slur against the British race car builders of the day (as the Brits knocked race winning cars together in their "Primitive" sheds).

PWF's "Pigasus" design was originally black, in an emblematic shield, with the Union Flag across the top instead of a Tricolor. A friendly two fingered salute to the rivalry between the British manufacturers and the Scuderia.

Ferrari S.p.A didn't see the funny side however and sent an interesting letter to PWF HQ (framed and on the office wall), around "Passing Off" as Ferrari.

Safe to say the shield design was dropped, flag removed and colour changed to the red "Pigasus" we know and love today.

NB: No horses or pigs heads have been received yet from the Italians, so all good.🙏🏻🤣🐴🐷

Choose your weapon.

Its a cliche, i have a car to get me from "A" to "B". Stuff that, drive something where the journey is just as interesting as the destination.

A rally legend, recreated for the road.

Now offered on Collecting Cars: this 2012 Hawk HF3000 Lancia Stratos Recreation — a lightweight homage to one of rallying’s most recognisable machines.

Built around a bespoke space frame with fibreglass bodywork, it’s powered by a characterful 3.0-litre Alfa Romeo ‘Busso’ V6, sending power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. Finished in vibrant yellow, it has covered just 1,531 miles.

Busso V6. Manual. Stratos looks.

Now live on the platform.
