Saturday’s adventure continued at the @parrishartmuseum I was drawn to the pieces by Tschabalala Self @tschabalalaself and apparently a friendly artist was drawn to my style and asked me to pose for some photos. I’ll share them when he sends me the edited versions.

Yesterday’s adventuring started at Nova’s Ark Project, a very mysterious location if you caught my stories about it. We drove past it on the way to our AirBnB and knew we had to explore. Nicole managed to catch the owner on the phone and we got our invite. They were super excited to host a couple of art teachers and we were excited to learn more. The site is the creation of late artist Nova Mihai Popa and his apprentices, one of whom gave us a little tour. The site may open to the public in the future, but for now they board horses and grow organic cannabis. Just know that if/when it opens up, GET THERE!

Took a trip up to NYC yesterday with my art teacher bestie @classicclayworks to check out the Whitney Biennial and wander around Chelsea! Contemporary art never ceases to amaze me.

🌊 Hello July 🌊

I've been working on the Sweet Pea Tank Top pattern. I'm really pleased with the flow & look of this Comfy Cotton Blend yarn by @lionbrandyarn . The Ocean Breeze colorway is truly gorgeous and has cool summer vibes. I'm planning to have it finished by Wednesday so I can wear it on the 4th! 🍓🤍🌊

We were blessed with rain last night (we have been needing it), and this morning was so sweet & almost chilly. I am planning to have some gal pal time with Becka today. We are hoping to stop by @amitycoffeeroasters and @wilderlove_store . I'll be sure to share some photos in stories.

What's your favorite way to spend time with your friends? Let me know in the comments below! Happy Monday!

Xoxo,
💕Rachel
