COMMUNITY SHOWS UP. 💚⚾️

A few months ago, we held our first car wash fundraiser for Sutherland Fields Reimagined, and it was one of those days that showed us what this project could really become.

A huge thank you to Marty Rodriguez and Marty Rodriguez Real Estate Offices for opening their doors to us, giving us a place to hold the fundraiser, and supporting our kids and our vision for Sutherland Fields.

Our players didn’t just show up—they went to work. 🧽🚗

They washed cars, held signs, talked to people in the community and helped raise money for fields they will ultimately get to enjoy.

We are also incredibly grateful to Niagara Cares, whose generous grant and commitment to this project have provided major support for the work happening at Sutherland Fields. Having a community partner believe in this vision in such a meaningful way has helped turn an ambitious idea into something we can actually build.

And our local businesses showed up, too. A special shout-out to The Donut Man, Classic Coffee and Mauricio’s for generously donating food and refreshments to help keep our volunteers and families going throughout the day. 🍩☕️🌮

This is what Sutherland Fields Reimagined is all about.

Yes, we’re rebuilding baseball fields. But we’re also giving kids an opportunity to see what happens when people work together, take ownership of something they care about and give back to their community.

From a major community partner like Niagara Cares, to local businesses donating food, to Marty opening her offices, to our kids washing cars—every part of this project is being built through people choosing to show up.

Thank you, Marty, for helping us take one of our first steps. And thank you to Niagara Cares for believing in what Sutherland Fields can become.

Thank you as well to every business, family, friend and community member who donated, volunteered, stopped by or trusted a bunch of baseball players with their car. 😉⚾️

This was only the beginning.

Together, we’re building something that will last for generations.
