I am thrilled to report that our beautiful booth at QIPO @qipoart 2024 was such a success, people continue to rave about it and we got an email this week with a looong list of all the amazing press we received. People loved @unicornkiller1 ‘s beautiful pieces— indeed, they are so popular only a handful are left, and I personally encourage you all to invest in one and gift it to a friend or a loved one as these are unique and limited edition works - kind of like when one says “priceless”, right? My favorite is the final one. I LOVE introducing awesome works and artists internationally to new audiences- and this time we had folks from as far as Romania and Finland as well as all regions of the US represented and visiting us— it is truly a blessing to be surrounded by beauty and love #supportwomenartists #makeartnotwar #anotherworldispossible #artistrun

Join us June 4, 12-5 pm for a day of joy, art and art making workshops in celebration of life and love because artislife/arteesvida! Joie de Vivre is a celebration of our community’s diversity and how even in the face of intense crisis and hardship, there is a way in which the art that we are surrounded by can bring joy and inspire creative expression for healing and even to continue to thrive and succeed. Exhibiting will be 13 artists I love and whose work I turn to in the darkest hours to bring cheer and happiness and who will be exhibiting in the sanctuary of an old church in South Central LA - where despite so much loss and poverty, art finds a way to thrive and help the surrounding community find respite from strife and lack. I am proud to bring together: Yolanda González, Alex Paik, Emily Wagner, Christine Morla, Ichiro Irie, Endy, Marischa Slusarski, John Geary, Juan Manuel Ildefonso, Aska Irie, Carolyn La MeraMera Castaño, Jackie Amezquita, and the fabulous, Zeal Harris @artsatblueroof @claudia_huiza_presents Many Many thanks to @ldwstudio for believing in my vision for a new world! I am proud to announce that the Festival of Art and Action that I co-curated with @perrasdemuseo in the Museo de la Ciudad de México during this pandemic will be officially re-launching the online exhibition with the broader support of the Mexican Cultural Ministry Dept. Not an easy feat to achieve in these times and with this particular administration! Check it out! It launches the 21 March at 5 pm DF time which is one hour ahead of CA PST time. The performance art videos are not to be missed! Thank you to all our region’s amazing performance artists that trust me with their work! Can’t wait until we can have this festival be held in person once again! A warm thank you for their financial support to @dianeallen23 @jewelthaiswilliams @perrasdemuseo @ruben__esparza @MDLUXX without whose monetary support these artists, especially the Mexican artists, would be unable to maintain their practice and simply survive in this time of crisis.

So much can happen overnight! In just a few hours our guest began an amazing transformation. Can’t describe what it feels like to be witnessing all that’s going on in our world today but one thing is for sure, the universe has its ways, nature is balance.
