I am so proud of this insanely amazing documentary! Butthole Surfers: The Whole Truth and Nothing Butt directed by @tomjstern is a masterpiece of a music doc. Currently screening at Alamo @drafthouse throughout the U.S. and soon to be distributed in additional cities, streaming, and DVD by @sumerianpictures.

It was a wild ride co-producing and remaking props after Tom’s house and studio burned down in the Altadena fire before the movie was finished. This reel captures some of the glorious, inspiring chaos of working on the film over the years. It was an honor and a privilege to work alongside the insanely talented @bhstheholetruthmovie crew. My Butthole memories are forever seared into my permanently warped brain. THANK YOU CREW!! BRAVO TOM for making the best rock doc ever!!

PS. Fun fact! The Butthole Surfers are actually an elite special forces unit of the US Navy Seals. Proof at the end.

SXSW was Lit. Such a great time reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and of course mentoring!

I was so inspired by fellow filmmakers @stuffbydanny @peteohs and @atwwalloway , who premiered their daring feature films Downbeat, Erupcja, and Forbidden Fruits at SXSW this year. Their boldness and artistry reminded me why this community is so special. #indiefilm #forbiddenfruit #downbeat

Last month Picloc flew across the pond to Austin to take part in @sxsw ✈️

Our film for ‘IRL’ by @lowswimmer screened in the Music Video Competition (presented by @vimeo), alongside some absolute gems for huge artists like Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, Tyler the Creator and Hot Chip. Needless to say, we made some very lovely and very talented friends.

Highlights included partying with Robert @rodriguez and @bootsriley in the set of Alita: Battle Angel, pitching on stage as part of the @seriesfest competition, and eating the world’s best brisket in the studio where they shot Sin City @brassknucklefilms. 😎

A massive THANK YOU to @britisharts for supporting our trip to Texas. We’re honoured to be representing British film abroad. 🙌

Unbelievably lucky to have learned so much from Claudette over the years, and it's difficult for me to imagine SXSW without her.

I should thank her for everything she has done for countless independent filmmakers over two decades, but instead I'll be very selfish and thank @claudasaur for the trust and faith she put in me and the very small but very mighty SXSW Film & TV team she's led for the last few years. A consummate champion for both filmmakers and attendees, whose legacy touches on so much more than many will ever know.
