Bravi tutti to recently retired Prof. Parthena Owens, reuniting with @okcuflutestudio alumni at the @nfaflute convention in Atlanta! She notes: "Seeing my former students from the Wanda L. Bass School of Music - Oklahoma City University participate in NFA gives me such joy! 6 were there this year, doing it all on their own! Hailey Tucker was a convention intern, doing everything from setup to handing out the bouquets at the concerto concert. Today, I heard Alaina Diehl play beautifully on the baroque flute, and the debut of the Thena Quartet, premiering a brand new work. So proud of Allison Demand, Thalia Hernandez, Mark Alvarez and Clay Steiner, individually and of this ensemble. "
