Legendary 🏀 Coach John Wooden said, “A coach can change a game, but a great coach can change a life.” Thank you to all the amazing coaches who have helped Lex and Georgia become the best versions of themselves—on & off the court! Happy National Coaches Day!

TLDR;✌🏾out volleyball
Even as I write this, I still do not have the words to describe this post. Volleyball has been the thing that simply changed my life for the better. At the end of the day, I am still the girl that got told at middle school tryouts that I “have pretty hands”.

To my family,
None of this would be possible without you. The early mornings and late nights, the McDonalds breakfast or takeout dinners, convention centers, flights, and so many miles on the car. You made this possible and I am forever grateful. You showed me the lessons that this experience taught me❤️

To Duke Volleyball,
Thank you Coach, Kellie, Aaron, Jeremy, DJ Dan, Macka, Maddie, Cole, Jack, Levi, and Clay. Not only did you give me a chance to play, you helped give me a reason to keep competing and be the best version of myself as much as possible. To my DUVB teammates, the hardest challenge is saying goodbye to competing with you every single day. You are my future bridesmaids, my best friends, and my second family. I couldn’t go through anything without any of you guys.

Although I didn’t expect to end up blowing out my knee and ending my career a tad early. I simply couldn’t ask for any other journey than the one I am on. Thank you to everyone who supported me, listened to my rant, and cheered me on all at the same time!

Go Duke💙
With love,
Tina
