My first ever @thebrokennbinding subscription book! This month’s SF&F was Deathless King by R.A. Castellan. I’m not really into vampires, but I have to admit I really love the art of this book. I really expect no leas of TBB, but it’s a beautiful book to hold in my hands, and a perfect cover for spooky season. It may take a while to read it as my TBR is deep, but it was definitely fun to do an impromptu photo shoot. Have you read this book? 🐎 Lonesome Dove - TBB Edition 🌾 QOTD: Have you been reading anything outside of your comfort zone recently? The closest I’ve ever come to consuming a Western piece of media is when I had to do a film study on Dances with Wolves in high school. Naturally we dissected it to death and so the genre lost some shine for me, but I’m slowly but surely being sucked back in, and this edition might just be the spark that tips me over the edge. Tell me this @fairyloot edition of Immortal Rose by @alexbracken isn’t an absolute DREAM?! The purple colorway is giving enchanted, ethereal, darkly romantic bookshelf royalty. This was my first read of a regency romance vibe and I loved it. I immersive read this one thanks to @librofm and @avonbooks - I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it because the FMC’s name is Viola and that was my grandmother’s name. One of my favorite people to ever grace this world. I miss her more than words. I can’t believe it’s been nearly 9 years since she gained her angel wings.
