One month of loving you our sweet and spicy Pepper girl ❤️

You have definitely spiced up the house and we wouldn’t want it any other way. We are so excited to watch you grow and learn. You’ve already gained 2lbs 🥹 Praying you will continue to grow and be healthy and be the sweetest puppy around. We love you sweet girl and are so happy you’re ours ❤️

We had the best week in CA seeing friends, family, and hanging by the beach 🥰

I got to spend lots of time with baby Tanner and Kacey. I love watching my best friend be the most amazing mama ❤️

Lunch visits with my Lo 💚

Brewery hangs with the best in the business, Kylie!

Dad got his old ‘79 boat running for a fam lake day. Clay and mom got up on the single ski after years off 🤗

Had wine Wednesday with the crew 🍷

Got to spend some time with my new fur niece Trixie, she’s so cute 🥰 and her mama too😍

Drank some good west coast IPAs and watched my husband surf. Both of which I can’t do in TX.

Went to the races with a solid crew and had way too much fun 😋

Had a family pool party at Aunt Jo’s house and got to see the baby cousins getting big!

Got to have a solo day with Tanner and take him to church and then brunch hosted by Denise with the ladies 🥰 And wrapped up the trip with family dinner.

It was a whirlwind of a week. Sorry to anyone we did get a chance to see. We’ll be back soon 🙏🏽 we miss y’all and the weather already ❤️

Rest in peace my baby kitty Stella. 6 years, 6 months, and 10 days. That’s how long I had with you. I knew your life would be short, HCM in cats is a horrible life sentence 😔💔
Stella you were the best kitty I could have asked for. You were so cuddly and loyal. When you heard us come home you were always there to greet us with head butts and zigzags between our legs. You were my bed buddy at night, and even though you woke me up multiple times a night to be let back under the covers, I never minded cuz your snuggles made me so happy. You would talk back to me with the sweetest meows and you had one that sounded just like you were saying mom 🥺 Your favorite place to be was in between my legs under a blanket on the couch ❤️ You traveled so many places with me, over 6 states and Mexico. You loved adventure and being with me wherever I went. You lived in 4 apartments in Carlsbad, 1 bus in Nevada, and 1 house in TX. No matter where we moved, your heated bed came with, you loved that thing! You also loved living in Carlsbad Village and walking to sunsets, and bars and restaurants. Everyone who met you either thought you were the coolest animal ever, or the creepiest. We didn’t even care about the haters, you and I both knew that you were the most beautiful kitty to ever live. For the first few years of your life, we rode the bike together to work. You entertained the office everyday, that’s for sure! You loved the bike and riding in the car. You just wanted to go along for the journey. You really enjoyed the yard in Texas. You would stand at the door to be let out and you would happily roll around the yard for a few hours, it was your happy place. I will continue to miss you forever Stella. You were the best 1st pet I could ask for. You taught me so much patience and showed me how to be selfless and truly love. I would have done anything for you. I wish I could have fixed your heart 😔 I’m happy you didn’t suffer for long and I’m so happy you are in heaven. I will hold you again someday. Until then, please keep my sissy company. I love you forever Stella ❤️

Happy one year anniversary to us @claytonshaw ❤️

We have had quite the adventurous year!! This year consisted of living by the beach in Carlsbad CA, to living in our school bus in Lake Tahoe, to moving everything to Salado TX (pop 2392). So many big life changes!! I am so happy to do it with you. You always remind me to go into life with a smile and a good attitude. You make me laugh so hard. I love our little family and can’t wait to grow it with you. Love you forever ❤️

May God bless us and our marriage forever 🙏🏽

Last week my parents and the kids visited us in Lake Tahoe. I have loved their summer visits for so many years, and I’m so happy the tradition continues!

We floated the Truckee River, sea glass hunted, enjoyed lots of beach days, and soaked up the lake life.

Koko said her favorite part of the trip was seeing Uncle Clay Clay and him making her yummy drinks 😋

Who knows where next summer will take us, but we do know that we will be living in TX after summer. I can’t wait to be so close to the kids and family 🥰
