Last weekend, CBSHS Student Advisory Board members Carolina Pettigrew (PHS), Beca Arambula (SON) and Stella Wendland (PHS) represented the college in the President’s Suite, where they welcomed Clemson President Benjamin Ayers and First Lady Marilyn Ayers, alumni, donors and guests while they each shared their Clemson Experience. 🐅🧡💜

For Pettigrew, the evening also included connecting with Dean Leslie Hossfeld and Brooke Brittain, a registered dietitian at Clemson Rural Health in Walhalla, ahead of her internship there this coming spring. ⭐🐾

This month, we celebrated 10 years of CBSHS! 🐅🎂 Over the last decade, our seven departments have been home to wonderful, passionate faculty members and talented, driven students. Each day, we move forward in our mission to build people and communities.

As we close out July and prepare for the upcoming academic year, we will be celebrating our successes past and present, along with the people who make our college so incredible. If CBSHS has been a part of your Clemson Experience, know that we are deeply thankful for your time here. 🧡💜

We can’t wait for the next 10 years! 🎉

“I am extremely grateful to the South Carolina Nurses Foundation for the honor of receiving the Nurses Care Scholarship. As a pediatric ICU nurse on the path to obtain my master’s degree and become a Family Nurse Practitioner, this scholarship has been instrumental in helping me continue my educational journey.

In the fast-paced and demanding field of nursing, financial support like this makes a huge difference. Being a recipient of this scholarship has eased the burden of graduate-level education and allows me to remain focused on growing in my career while balancing my personal and professional life. I am proud to be part of the most trusted profession and sincerely appreciate the Foundation’s commitment to supporting nurses as we advance in our careers and serve communities across South Carolina.” – Kendall Deas

Behind every scholarship is a future nurse who refused to give up - and a community that refused to let them.

YOU can support nursing students in a BIG way tomorrow for #MidlandsGives!

Give. Support. Empower.
Because every nurse starts somewhere.
