FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

Da Fingaz Presents: The Crank Continues
Best Regional Roots Music Album

GoGo music rooted in the DMV, created for sync.

What started as a brief for a few GoGo songs became a full album with @kenilworth_katrina, @seanjulio_, @cleva_thoughts, @the_syrin, @moneyzoepromotions, @ono_beats, @big__pimpin70, @rizzitherockstar, @k3lvinkaos, @philderihl, @skitta_skat, and @isisdiamondz.

This is the sound of the city, built to move. Thank you to every creator who cranked with me on this one.

Comment FYC below and I will DM you the listening link.

Some storms start long before the sky changes.

You feel them first.

In your chest.
In your memories.
In the things you thought you buried.

And then one day…

🌊 Floods coming.

THE EPOCH OUT NOW 🕹️

Having taken a brief, nearly two-month hiatus from actively producing new music in preparation for this album, and for other reasons, has provided me with a multitude of experiences, insights, and time for reflection. I couldn’t have asked for a better time for it, especially right now in my life.

This album is the culmination of over four years of planning, growth, connecting with like-minded people, and experiences I would never take back for the world. Throughout this process, there was one goal in mind: to create a full, self-contained listening experience inspired by the golden age of arcades and retro-futurism.

@brightraven3d It’s been a pleasure working with you for the past couple of years and watching your success as an artist. Truly one of the illest in the game.

To every artist who contributed their talents to this project, not just from my home city of Chicago but also artists from around the country, it’s been an honor to get to know you all, see you grow, and work with you on something special like this. Hopefully more to come.

This one is a toast to the underground…

Welcome to the Epoch.

Police escorted him away. Apparently our song offended someone…

This past Saturday at Westminster Pride, a man approached us after we performed “Throw Up” and told us we needed to stop singing it because kids were there.

A few moments later, police escorted him away.

We write music to make people feel something. Sometimes that’s joy. Sometimes that’s discomfort. Either way, it’s a conversation worth having.

So what do you think…

Should artists censor themselves at public events because children might be in the audience?

Drop your thoughts below. 👇

And if you’re curious what caused all the commotion…
