A second chance turned into a purpose. 💈

After serving time, he came home with barbering as a key to building a new future. Through hard work and dedication, he turned his experience into something bigger than himself: an opportunity to lead by example and show his son what’s possible through the barbering industry.

As the owner of Blade Therapy in Richmond, VA, he’s not only building his own legacy but also guiding his son along the way. Now, he’s sharing his story to give back, inspire others, and show how barbering can open doors to a different future.

The journey is better than legacy.

Faded Foundation is about more than helping someone get through barber school and serve more than just those impacted by incarceration

Juanita Shanks of Failsafe Era shares her story, her relationship with Antoine Carey, and why their connection goes far beyond business.

The mission has always been to give ANYONE in need the opportunity to attend school, become licensed, and build a professional career by doing things the right way—and the legal way.

Along the journey, some connections become family. For Juanita, Antoine is more than a business connection—he’s family. 💈

This is what Faded Foundation means.

Years of Skill, with so much momentum! Tahj made the decision to get licensed. 💈🔥

He already had the skill — getting licensed was the next step. If you’ve been cutting for years, don’t stop at experience. Make it official.

My barber career started with one opportunity.

Three years ago, I was learning, making mistakes, and chasing a dream. Today, I’m blessed to call this my profession—and it’s changed my life in more ways than I ever imagined.

Now it’s my turn to help create that same opportunity for someone else.

As a board member of Faded Foundation, our mission is to help aspiring barbers overcome the financial barriers to barber school through scholarships and community support.

When you donate, you’re not just giving money. You’re investing in someone’s future, their career, and their confidence.

If barbering has ever impacted your life—or you’ve ever believed in the power of a second chance—we’d love for you to join us.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

Together, we can change lives one barber at a time.

To watch the clouds dance around the moon as the temperature dropped. The mental relaxation eases one into a calm state. Mental health is now a conversation and I thank myTight360 for the guidance, the conversations and definitely the understanding.

Now to watch the SUN rise
