Another amazing weekend has come and gone! It's time to start a brand new work week. New intentions and a renewed mindset. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to make some beautiful connections at @veteransgrowingamerica . So many smiles and stories were exchanged. If you ever have the chance to mingle with us in person, jump on it! We love to hear about your life over aroma therapy. I wish each and every one of you a week of accomplished personal and / or professional goals. Get more rest. Drink more water. Take a breath before responding. Pray/meditate about big life decisions before pulling the tr!gger on them. Take that shot you already know you should take. Take a chance on yourself. LIVE OUT LOUD! Whatever you do, do it with kindness in your heart. Sending you love, light and peace💛💚

This weekend was full of reminders of God's grace. We were created in love. The need for intimacy is written upon our hearts. For this reason, I celebrate each of the relationships I have been blessed to cultivate and maintain throughout my life. Ten years ago, one of my dearest friends, Cleveland Chandler , and I were grateful to be selected as winners of the 1st Annual Misbin Family Memorial Chamber Music Competition. Jointly sponsored by Washington Performing Arts and Levine Music , this competition uniquely showcases the homegrown gifts within our community, celebrating student, amateur, and professional musicians. Amidst transitions and growth, even surviving the pandemic, we were delighted to be contacted late last year with an invitation to return to perform as alumni for the 10th anniversary Winners' Concert and Celebration. What a testament to the artistic life of our community! We are honored to be part of this family and are inspired by the strong future of our brilliant young artists! Congratulations to all participants, past and present! Interspersed within musical moments, I thank God for precious time with my 🐻, my dad and his sweetheart and more memories with some of my most loyal friends and family. Honorable and loving mention to those who I wasn't able to see this time. Please forgive my short turnaround until God gives me mercy to return! He is wonderful! Thank YOU for refreshing my spirit!
