Today is my mom’s birthday and I was looking through pictures to post and came across this video. While we were on a walk in Colorado my dad found this bracelet and gifted to my mom like he was proposing. My parents love was so genuine and pure. Today is my mom’s first birthday without her husband. Although it is heartbreaking this video brings me so much joy and gratitude that I was able to experience growing up surrounded by love. Happy birthday Mom I hope today you feel dad’s presence surrounding you with his love. 🩷🩷

This post is dedicated in memory of Wayne Lewis, father of my former youth (Isabelle Lewis and Josie Alana Thompson) and husband of one of my awesome youth workers (Colleen Lewis). A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at 1 PM this Saturday, October 26 at Belin UMC followed by a reception in the FLC. Please keep the Lewis family in prayer!

It is with great sadness that we share an unexpected and unimaginable tragedy that has struck one of our LMSC families. Today, Colleen Lewis, mother of Isabelle Lewis (LMSC Overall Queen 2023), shared that her husband, Wayne, will go to be with Jesus this evening. To the Lewis’… please know that your LMSC family loves you and you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 🤍
