Day 1 with our Young Achievers! 💪🏾

Some familiar faces and some new ones, but each of these young men was selected to be part of the Young Achievers Mentoring Program!

Today was all about setting the foundation. We talked about the rules and expectations of the program, what it means to be a Young Achiever, and then broke into group sessions focused on the importance of our four core values:

Brotherhood. Community. Leadership. Purpose.

This is just the beginning. We’re looking forward to building relationships, creating new experiences, serving our community, and helping these young men continue to grow as leaders.

Day 1 in the books! 💯

A BIG thank you to River Rouge for allowing Chris and I to close out our Back-to-School Initiative with their community!

We started this initiative with just a flyer, but with the help of our community, our partners, and everyone who reached out to support, we were able to distribute 600+ book bags along with school supplies this year — the most we’ve ever been able to give out.

This was our first time collaborating on a summer initiative like this, and it was truly a blessing to see so many different groups come together for one purpose.

Gratitude to everyone who played a part, donated, partnered with us, opened their doors to us, or simply helped spread the word. We appreciate it💙

We believe every child deserves the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed. We’re simply doing our part. 🎒📚

A huge thank you to River Rouge School District for hosting an incredible Panther Palooza Back-to-School event and to everyone who played a part in making it special. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces was the greatest highlight of all! ❤️

August wrapped💙

Year 4 of our Back-to-School Initiative is officially in the books, and this was our BIGGEST one yet.

500 book bags & school supplies were passed out this year along with our Community Saturdays and more!

We wanna thank Southfield Public Schools, River Rouge, Next Generation Life Institution, the Jameson Williams Foundation, Primer and 218 for allowing us to work alongside y’all, donate supplies and help you all complete your missions!

And most importantly, thank you to EVERYBODY who donated, shared a post, pulled up, volunteered, or helped us in any way. Gratitude to yall.

We still have supplies left, so if you or somebody you know needs anything, please reach out.

See y’all in a couple months.
