I’ve officially signed with literary agent Carleen Geisler @clgslr at @brittsiesscreative .

Carleen didn’t just read the proposal for my Manuscript #TheTableThatHeldUs she understood the emotional core of the book and immediately saw where it fits in the market. That combination is rare.

The manuscript is complete. We’re heading out on submission.

From our very first Zoom, I knew this was the right alignment.
Now it’s time to go to work.

From the very beginning of this project, I knew I wanted to publish traditionally. I want this book to reach as many people as possible—to carry a message that matters to me deeply:

As parents, we have to leave something behind.
We have to be present.

And we have to find a way to say what we feel—regardless of our upbringing—whether that’s through food, as it is for me, or through whatever language we have.
