POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first of probably quite a few sets of pictures from Friday and Saturday spent at @goodwoodrevival. I might have missed the best of the sun on the Sunday, but the weather was *much* kinder to us this year than last - no real rain, and no blistering heat either. I "only" had the Pentax (Rolleiflex is still at the camera hospital - I wasn't organised enough!), but in a way it was actually nice not to be juggling two cameras. And as always, it doesn't seem quite fair that we have to wait a year to do it all again!

More pictures to come through this week...

What a swingin’ afternoon! And what a fantastic community! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Chichester Lindy Hoppers and everyone who came along to dance, donate, enjoy the tea and cake, and help raise an incredible £1,004 for New Park Centre’s RAISE THE ROOF campaign! 🎉

It was wonderful to see the Centre filled with music, dancing and laughter, and to see one of our regular groups giving something back to a place that means so much to them.

New Park is home to more than 90 community groups every week, and it’s the people who use the Centre who make it such a special place.

We’re so grateful to the Lindy Hoppers for choosing to support us, and to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a success.

Thank you for helping us dance our way towards RAISE THE ROOF! 🏠❤️

Think you “can’t dance”? Think again.

From nervous first steps to full-on smiles in a single song, Lindy Hop has a way of surprising people. No partner, no experience, no rhythm required… just a love of music and a willingness to give it a go.

Read our latest interview, as we go behind the scenes of Chichester’s Lindy Hop community, where the vibe is joyous, social, playful and the motto says it all: it’s not about perfection, it’s about expression.

✨ Curious? This is your sign.
Beginners’ course starts Wednesday 6th May, 7–8pm at New Park Centre.

Booking essential through chichesterlindyhoppers.co.uk
or email chichesterLH@gmail.com

Come for the curiosity… stay for the music, the people, and the joy.

Today I’m celebrating the women who show up in every season of life.

The women fighting cancer with courage. The mothers raising families, running businesses, while holding the world together. The older women rebuilding strength after injury and proving resilience has no age.The women welcoming new babies and new beginnings.

The teenage girls — like my daughter and nieces — bravely owning exactly who they are.

The friends and Sistahood who hold my hand, laugh with me, cry with me, and remind me I’m never alone. The dance community that lifts me up.The yoga sisters whose presence feels like coming home.

Friendship. Strength. Healing. Growth.

Today I honour the women who keep rising, supporting, nurturing, and bringing light to each other’s lives.

When women lift women, incredible things happen.#womensupportingwomen

Happy International Women’s Day 💛

Those of you who know me know this: I love the inner peace of yoga… and I love to dance. 💃
Both have changed my life in different ways, but they meet in the same place — joy.

Tapping into your inner joy is powerful. Whether I’m on the mat, moving with my breath, or on the dance floor, shaking it out to the beat, smiling ear to ear — it’s all about connection, playfulness, and curiosity.

Move your body. Let it be fun. Let it be free.

What brings you joy? Tell me below ⬇️

Come rain or shine we danced our hearts out for all 3 days at Revival 25… I’m so blessed to be part of this beautiful community. Washing my hair this morning after 3 days of hairspray was challenging! I was also very ready for Yoga this morning! Downward facing dogs and toe balances were particularly fruity 🤩

It’s about to be my favourite event of the year! @GoodwoodRevival

I’m so proud to be asked to dance at the incredible Revival with my amazing teachers and friends from @clhoppers

I have always loved to dance but never actually *learnt* to dance until 3 years ago when my Dad died. I realised I needed to seek more joy in my life to help me through a very sad time. I needed something for *me* after years of giving as a mum, daughter and wife I felt depleted. Any type of movement is medicine and learning to Lindy Hop (and the incredible community that comes with it) has totally changed my life.

What is it you have always wanted to learn? Comments below please! I urge you to GO DO IT! You won’t look back…

(Oh and I’ll be teaching Yoga at 8:30am on Friday at Westhampnett Hall with my vintage hair 😉 ready to change quickly in the loos after then dance for 3 days solid! Come rain or shine!) I will be recovering on Monday & Tuesday then reopen my clinic doors again on Weds 🙏
