Oldie but goodie: With all that’s been going on lately, The drastic changes, the preparation for newness. I wanted to offer you a throwback of a time in my life where I had to really become new. The Month was August (2 years ago). After traveling to London to begin the process of researching Graduate Schools, gain musical inspiration for future business endeavors, and quite frankly spend time with family because my mind & life at the time was in shambles- I decided to return home to the U.S.
Now before returning home I had to be drastic right? Of course, so to commemorate my almost birthday and to pay tribute to all the new wonderful culturally inspired art that I had taken in and new prospective on life I had acquired, I dyed my hair pink to represent the color I relate mostly to softness, love, internal happiness.
As I healed and learned and grew as a human, a creative and an artist. As I blossomed into newness I realized two things: 1. Life often comes with times in which we might have to shift &/or trust the process and just be in that moment. 2. It takes me (a Virgo) much time and built up energy to transcend into new beautiful dreams and development. I hold dear to my heart the love & life of anything I pour into however I value the strength and resilience it takes to embrace a wonderful miraculous new normal.

The second image is of my first photoshoot ever! It was with photographer @clickitrealhard after completing our freshman year at St. John’s University! Why? Because the future was ours & still is!

Here’s to re-inventions, new life, and the process. |

Throwing back a few weeks to after work eats at @elpoquitocantina . Tacos come 4 in an order... but no mix-and-match ☹️. Because sharing is caring and variety is the spice of life, @nelslee33 and @clickitrealhard were on board for a taco exchange so we ordered the carne asada, the Baja, and the shrimp Veracruz. They were all damn good tacos. The El Campeon washed them down.

Had a brewery stop two weekends back with some friends from work. There was some food after that was a bit disappointing (not at the brewery), so we’ll focus on the drinks. My flight was the 7 Course Red, the Crisper, the Nitro Maple Tukutuku, and the Wee Heavy. I’m weird with my beers in that I tend to go lighter and malty/sweeter or dark (I’m also not much of a beer person but I like flights for tasting purposes.) The Nitro Maple was so smooth and lighter than expected.

😍Feast on this #vegan hot dog at @ikeausa ! 🥕And those are real veggies - carrots, red lentils, kale and ginger, topped with red cabbage kraut and brown mustard. Can I get a 🙌🏼 on the price .75 cents! I think I just went back in time to the corner hot dog stand. 👍🏻Would you try it? It was delicious guys even ask my friends @csdemark and @uni_cookie81 who tried it with me!
