Just looking back at my feed, I realize it’s been almost exactly a month since my last shipping update.

It’s been a wild few weeks of learning since that post where sadly I had to pause shipping to the USA.

In those weeks I have learned more than I ever expected to about CUSMA/USMCA, but I did it all for you. The news you’re hoping for is “yes it’s true!” Pottery made in Canada complies with the rules that allow a product to be exported to the USA without additional tariffs 🎉🎉🎉

What you may not have known is Canada Post went on strike almost as soon as I had my website ready to launch.

So I had to pivot again. Shout out to @kaitlynabrennan who has shared so openly and generously about how she is navigating shipping both within Canada and to USA. She pointed me to @clickshipnow which is a platform for me to ship for less expensive than Canada Post (who isn’t available currently anyways), and with a carrier that will *include* the brokerage fee to get across the USA-Canada border. If you’re a maker and looking for a shipping platform, DM me and I’ll get you the details

So, long story short: with help, I figured it out. I am now shipping to Canada and USA. 👏👏

Additionally, I am switching to a proper website so folks without Facebook can now access my sales too.

Lastly, I’ll be posting the link today. It would mean the world to me if you would check it out, start your holiday shopping, send some feedback, and share the site. Hoping to post that link at 4pm EST.

Love you all so much ❤️

PS- going forward you’ll start to see my signature include “made in Canada” for border-crossing purposes. Stickers for the ones that were finished before I knew all the rules.

Not to worry... we no longer ship with Canada Post. All orders ship with UPS, FedEx, Purolator & GLS, so your packages are safe from delays 🚚 💌 📦

We are using a shipping broker company that allows you to pick your favorite courier, so there will be no interruptions in our shipping!

We've made the switch a long time ago as unfortunately Canada Post has become too unreliable.

For any other small businesses struggling with shipments, we recommend you to get in touch with @clickshipnow today!

Thank you everyone 🙏
