Dear @fultonfilmsga Team,

Thank you so much for the warm and heartfelt invitation. It was an honor to be surrounded by such incredible Black excellence and a pleasure to connect with and learn from fellow thespians, writers, producers and directors who share my passion for the craft. Thank you for creating a platform that recognizes those serving our community and provides access to those directly impacted. The event was exceptional and truly a night to remember.

I wish continued success to everyone who attended, as well as those who were unable to make it.

Thank you @beyond_themic for capturing these beautiful moments.

Warmest Regards,

Dakotah Shari 🎬🫶🏾

The Holding On To Hope Premiere in my hometown of Tallahassee, FL was on for the ages! To have both my mother Margaret Young-Jackson and my daughter Paityn Jackson in attendance to experience it with me was more than one could ever ask for! So many of my Official Tabernacle M.B. Church family was in attendance to see our beloved DannyandRhoda Whitfield present this beautiful and touching film to the world. Directed by my man The Dr. @luckyjohnsonstudios who was in attendance all the way from Atlanta along with the beautiful cast who brought this movie to life was a sight to behold. Being homegrown I received so much Tallahassee Love from the 850 and I appreciate you all for being a part of my journey thus far! Even my Kindergarten teacher Ann Cook Clements came out to support her former student!!! How dope is that? HE ain’t done with me yet! So honored to be a part of this project! #HoldingOnToHope🎥🎬#BasedOnATrueStory #TheLast48Hours📖 #JWhitfield🕊️🥁💙 #TallahasseeLove

Another great night surrounded by some amazing people in this industry!

Last night’s Fulton County Films Red Carpet Series was all about connecting, reconnecting, building relationships, and celebrating the talent we have right here in Atlanta. Always a good time catching up with my industry friends, meeting new creatives, and being in rooms filled with people who share the same passion for storytelling.

One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that relationships matter just as much as the work. You never know where a conversation, introduction, or genuine connection might lead.

Shoutout to @fultonfilmsga -especially @shaunyachavis & @cardellia_hunter from the city of Atlanta, for continuing to create spaces for us to come together, network, and support one another. Looking forward to what’s next and hopefully sharing the screen with more of these talented folks!

Here’s a little photo dump from the night!
