The 53rd Clinton-County Fair kicked is off to a great start with opening ceremonies, recognition of friend of the fair, and the crowning of the 2026 Clinton County Fair Queen. In a special moment, outgoing Queen Sarah Lavallee crowned her sister, Clinton County Fair Queen Catherine Lavallee, continuing a family legacy on the fair stage.

Congratulations also to First Alternate Emily Bechdel and contestants Madelynn Bryant and Benelli Reynolds.

A journey to West Lampeter! 👑💖⭐️

⭐️ 2025 Somerset County Fair Queen Jovi Jeske enjoyed a wonderful trip to the 2025 West Lampeter Fair Queen Contest! 👑

🐄 The drive through the rolling countryside of Lancaster County was a highlight, offering views of the diverse agricultural landscape that makes Pennsylvania so special. Coming from Somerset County, where smaller family-run farms are most common, it was remarkable to witness Lancaster’s large-scale agricultural productions—among the biggest not only in Pennsylvania but across the nation! 🌾

👸🏻 The evening was also made special by reconnecting with an old friend, Miss Sarah Lavallee, the 2025 Clinton County Fair Queen, whom Jovi had the honor of cheering on earlier this summer when she was crowned. ✨

⭐️ A heartfelt congratulations goes out to the newly crowned 2025 West Lampeter Fair Queen, Brooke Rubincam, and her Alternate, Carla Mann. All the contestants shined brightly, and it was truly a nail-biting competition from start to finish! 💖

Congratulations are due in Clinton County! 🎡 👸🏼✨

✨ 2024 Somerset County Fair First Alternate Jovi Jeske attended the Clinton County Fair Queen Contest at the Clinton County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 26, 2025, where the new Clinton County Fair Queen was crowned at the Main Stage.

✨ A big congratulations to 2025 Clinton County Fair Queen, Sarah Lavallee, First Alternate, Benelli Reynolds, and
Fair Ambassador, Madalynn Bryant! We thank Clinton County for their hospitality.

💖 As our First Alternate, Jovi supported the contestants, proudly sat in during the contest to represent Somerset County, and participated in post-contest celebrations with the winner and fellow royalty.

🎤 The contest featured interviews, evening gown presentations, formal speeches, and on-stage impromptu Q&A, showcasing the poise and public-speaking talents of the finalists, much like our very own contest!

👸🏼 Jovi wishes to see many fans and supporters in the stands during our very own 60th Annual Somerset County Fair Queen’s Contest!

On July 6th there was a busy day that included going to Clinton, Madison, Montgomery, and Logan County. While each program was unique and diverse in their own way I wanted to point out a few features of each one:

Clinton- Has a revolving haul in where each species is brought in at a different time during the fair week and therefore the public has the ability to see animals at each time frame.
Madison-Has an amazing hall of fame for all of their animals as well as ambassadors for each species. There was a great sense of community among the youth as they can all tell you exactly where something/someone was without a second thought and it was amazing to see multiple generations prepping for shows.
Montgomery- I came on an opportune day as it was the day of their jackpot show. They have the ability to run a trailer haul in show at their fairgrounds before their 4-H only shows as a way to bring extra income to their fair. Many of the young people I saw had come from a good while away with one young man coming from Illinois.
Logan-Logan county while hectic was absolutely phenomenal with everyone being extremely knowledgeable about their projects when asked, during the time I was with their ambassador, I asked a question that is common "why do you do sheep, you can choose anything" her response? "It's what I do, everyone in my family does it." She went on to tell me about her father showing lambs before her and their story held true to many within the barn.
