I’ve spent so much of my life feeling like if I’m not constantly moving forward, I’m falling behind. And I think that’s why I’ve always dreaded the winter months, especially December and January. Life slows down, shows become fewer, things get quiet… and honestly, that still makes me uncomfortable and stressed. I’ve become SO conditioned to the hustle. Always working, planning, chasing the next opportunity. I’ve convinced myself that if I’m not doing something productive, I’m somehow not doing enough. But lately I’ve been asking myself… what if slowing down isn’t falling behind?

What if I stopped measuring my progress by the things that haven’t happened yet and started appreciating how far I’ve already come? Maybe rest isn’t something we have to earn. Anyone else struggle with slowing down?

What if the very thing you’ve been fighting so hard to hold onto is the thing keeping you from moving forward? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately... We spend so much of our lives chasing things, making plans, and convincing ourselves that if we just hold on a little tighter, it’ll all work out. But what if the answer isn’t to try harder? What if it’s to loosen the grip and trust that what’s meant for us won’t require us to force every step of the way?

I’m learning there’s a difference between giving up and letting go. And sometimes, letting go takes even MORE courage. THIS is the heart behind my next single, Mercy of the Wind.

October 30. Pre-save in my bio. 🖤 #lettinggo #independent #newmusic #scottstevens #mercyofthewind

Nobody talks about how embarrassing it feels to outgrow something you once begged for. Especially when you’ve spent so long convincing yourself it was meant for you. The time. The energy. The sleepless nights. The endless what-ifs.

The music industry has changed so much... It’s unpredictable, constantly evolving, and sometimes feels like the harder you try to control the outcome, the further away it gets. 😅 I’ve spent 8 years believing that if I just worked harder, pushed a little more, or held on a little tighter, everything would eventually fall into place, and some things absolutely have… But maybe it’s time to loosen the grip. Not on the dream. Not on the passion. But on the idea that I can control how it all unfolds.

Sometimes we hold on because we’re afraid that letting go means all of it was for nothing. But maybe changing your mind isn’t failure. Maybe it’s growth. And maybe the hardest part isn’t letting go… it’s trusting what happens when you finally do. 🖤

The official music video for Hell N Back is out NOW on YouTube ❤️‍🔥 Thank you to everyone who made this happen: @weemscreative @aldenrest @guitarbyash @katelynncorllofficial 🫶 I want to emphasize this: Hell N Back was never about staying in the pain. Yes, we leaned into the rebellion, the anger, and the dark rock energy, but only for that moment. This video wasn’t about being the victim or becoming jaded. It was about giving those feelings a place to exist, then letting them go. The darkness was part of the story. It was never where I planned to stay. I’m grateful for everything that it taught me… but I’m even more excited for where I’m going next 😆

There comes a point where you stop rehearsing what happened, stop giving it power, and decide this is the last time it gets to take up space in your heart. That’s what this video became for me. Not a way to stay in the pain but a way to walk through it one last time, feel every emotion, and leave it where it belongs. I think we all deserve a moment like that. This Friday, I finally get to share the Hell N Back music video with you. I hope somewhere in these three minutes, you find a little piece of your own story… and maybe a reason to leave some of it behind, too. ❤️‍🔥

People think songs like this are about holding onto the past. For me, it was the opposite. Hell N Back was my chance to say everything I needed to say one last time… so I wouldn’t have to carry it anymore.

I’m not interested in living in the pain.
I’m not interested in being the victim.

This was my release. My goodbye. The moment I chose to leave that chapter behind and become the woman I was always meant to be. Here’s your first look at the Hell N Back music video. ❤️‍🔥

It’s finally here. ❤️‍🔥 HELL N BACK is officially yours.

This song is about surviving the moments and the people that tried to break you. It’s about walking through the fire, carrying the scars, and realizing they don’t define you… they prove you made it through.

For me, this song marks more than just a new release. It’s the beginning of a new era. Bigger guitars. Bigger emotions. Bigger stories. The music I’ve always dreamed of making.

I’m so grateful to have written this one with the incredible @exiesscott and @clontsmusic , who helped bring this anthem to life. And a huge thank you to Scott for believing in me and producing a record that feels exactly like the artist I’ve been fighting to become.

If you’ve ever had to pick yourself up after life knocked you down, I hope this song reminds you that your story isn’t over.

Thank you for believing in me, for streaming, sharing, adding it to your playlists, and helping independent music find its way into the world. Every listen means more than you know.

Here’s to leaving the past behind… and never looking back. HELL N BACK is out everywhere now. ❤️‍🔥 #newmusic #hellnback #newmusicfridays #countryrock #rockcountry

People think going through hell leaves you broken.

Sometimes…

It burns away everything that was never you to begin with.

The fear.
The people-pleasing.
The self-doubt.
The need to prove yourself.

What’s left is someone stronger.

Not harder.

Just clearer.

I don’t regret my past.

I don’t wish it away.

Because without every mistake…
Every rejection…
Every heartbreak…
Every sleepless night…

I wouldn’t recognize the woman staring back at me today.

Hell N Back isn’t about staying in the fire.

It’s about walking out of it.

This isn’t my victim story.

It’s my origin story.

And everything from here on out…

Is built from the woman who survived it. This Friday it’s yours. ❤️‍🔥 pre-save it today. Link in bio.
