Joining me on the night are @iamfaro_ and @p__lucas___ who are both fantastic DJs, smashing it in London and beyond 🔥

Keeping the tempo light to start the evening, we will work up the tempo to all kinds of House, Garage, Broken Beat, and anything else we can throw into the mix.

There is a rumour of a B2B2B2B to close the night, arrive early and stay to the end, and dance amongst friends.

Happy October, everyone, and we can only apologise that we are a day late with this; after all, we are only human, and we do not want to use AI.

Lots of stuff going on as always this month, from takeovers to residents, to labels, to listening events; it’s all right here at 1001.

Next up, @close_to_the_source_uk returns to @cafe_1001 in London, save the date.

Joining resident @funkymusak for a B2B is @soundsofharris, it's his 2nd visit to Cafe 1001 for Close to the Source🔥

Music starts at 6pm, and we close out at Midnight, 6 hours of mostly 90s/00s House, and we'll switch across Disco, Boogie, and Brit Funk during the early part of the night.

Swipe to see some pics and videos of Sounds of Harris, and some footage of our last B2B at Cafe 1001 in October 2025.

The 25th Birthday celebrations for @cafe_1001 are getting closer, I'll be joining @daddydarkrdc and @camille.munn (@brighterdaysfamily) in the booth this Friday (28th), to throw down some tunes for this night to remember.

If you are in London, come join us, the celebrations continue across the weekend.

I've got a lot of time for @leo__saunders , @ell.iot___ and the team at 1001, they've provided opportunities for many, and created a fantastic space for people to express themselves through music.

Leo gave me a platform to start my @close_to_the_source_uk events at the venue back in December 2024, and we have thrown some nice parties since that first event.

If you want to get involved, details on the event are in the usual place, and if you are quick DM ME for some very limited GL spaces 😀

Next weekend, I'm back in the fields of @weoutherefest for the 4th year in a row, and after playing Near Mint, Love Serve, and Tomorrow's Warriors Big Top, it's my first time on the Once in a Blue Moon stage. I'll be there on Friday at 8pm.

Always an incredible weekend of music, if you have never been before, I can't recommend it enough, the curation is top tier.

Also a huge call-out, is the number of like-minded people I have met at We Out Here since 2023, that I now consider close friends, love that ❤️

Shout out to Noah Ball for including me this year, when that confirmation email came through, I was chuffed to bits.

See you in the fields!!!

This is 2024 at the Love Serve stage, the 90 mins flew by.

The next @close_to_the_source_uk at @the_bbe_store will soon be here, let's talk about the line-up.

First up is @moodena909 🔥

Moodena’s success over the years has been nothing short of prodigious. His meteoric rise to being ever present at the pinnacle of both the Disco & Nu Disco charts has seen him become one of the most in demand DJ/ producers across the globe. Delving a little deeper, Moodena has in fact earned his disco stripes the hard way, through nearly 30 years of non-stop efforts working in the music industry. Notably, he was co-founder of the hugely influential MN2S, an independent trailblazer in all aspects of the electronic music industry, running events, a DJ Agency/Management and Label distribution.

Over the last few years there have been a landslide of chart bound releases and accolades for both Moodena and Tropical Disco, who were label of the year at the OGV awards in 2021 as
well as Moodena being nominated as Best Remixer in 2022 and Best DJ in 2024. Moodena has clocked up more than 25 Traxsource genre No 1’s and 70 + Top 10’s alongside millions
of streams on Spotify. He was also crowned Traxsource Nu Disco Artist Of The Year two years in a row 2019 and 2020. Moodena’s chart-topping qualities have also seen him become
hugely sought after as a remixer with recent stand out remixes for Dave Lee on Z Records, Rhyze and John Davis, both on legendary New York label Nervous, ‘The Destroyer’ for Soul
Central, and Bellaire’s ‘Sunset Ballad’.

Despite such impressive studio prowess Moodena is perhaps most at home in the DJ booth, seamlessly combining everything from Disco and US Garage to house and Techno.

We are so happy that Moodena is joining us on Saturday 25th July, swipe to see some pics and footage of him in action, along with the full line-up flyer.

The event starts at 4pm, and finishes at 11pm, with BBE opening at 12 noon.

Ohh yes, we return to @cafe_1001 this Saturday 30th May, for another edition of @close_to_the_source_uk

Joining me is my good friend, DJ, producer and rising star @ethanwest_dj , the music starts at 6pm, and ends at Midnight.

Music wise, it will be Boogie, Funk, Modern Soul, and Jazz Funk to start, and then we'll jump across to House and Disco once the dancefloor heats up.

If you are planning to join us, either book a table in advance, or arrive early, for our last event in February, we hit capacity at 8pm, and had a long queue until we closed at Midnight.

Hope to see you on the dancefloor!

SWIPE to see some pics of our previous guests, and some snaps of Ethan 😄
