The final piece in a long process of my sleeve dedicated to my father. It’s almost done thanks to the wonderful artist @closeknittattoos for seeing my vision. #trueart #iownit

Because on the brink of turning 33 I begin to be reflective of the past year and the years before. I do not miss the person I was in the past. However, that person didn’t fully understand themselves.
This is my newest tattoo. It is for my late brother Britt. Lilies were one of his favorite flowers and ironically they symbolize the innocence that has been restored to the soul of the departed. Being able to be more mindful and less reactive to stress, trauma, and frustrations has been a game changer. I am still working on it but seeing the beauty of this tattoo places this calm within my soul.

Cheers to almost being wiser!

For those of you who have expressed concern that with my new therapist path I may not be performing anymore…fear not! Well, be a little scared I suppose. Me and @a.little.brit are in a #synchronizedswimming club (yes) called @aquamobnola and we are putting on an adaptation of the #classic #horror #Carrie at the @thedrifterhotel with a play, live band @thebombpulse, #discoballs, #waterballet, #blood, #drinks, and of course me in a #tuxspeedo. Don’t miss it…or else. Tix online at @eventbrite. Art by @closeknittattoos, poster by @lovequest
