💌💌Rukmini Sandesham :

The first ever love letter written in the history of India😊😂 is a part of Srimad Bhagvatam.

🔹️Rukmini's marriage was fixed to Shisupalan-King of Chedi by her brother. She immediately sent a letter to Sri Krishna through a brahmin messenger to come and take her away as she loved only Krishna from the bottom of her heart.
This has seven slokas and is the most beautiful one where Rukmini expresses her love for Sri Krishnan and also gives her tips on what are the rituals in marriage where she will be out of the kingdom..like visiting the family deity (before the wedding) to seek blessings, so you can come there and take me away from the crowd...

🔸️🔸️The slokas start as "Bhuvana Sundara" it is said Lord Krishna told the brahmin(messenger)to read it out for him, who became shy after reading this word which Rukmini had written in the very first line !!🔸️🔸️

It dramatically ends where Rukmini says(threatens!!) Krishna if you do not come and save me from this marriage and make me your wife , I will take 1000 rebirths and in each birth you have to be my husband!!!

Such words, omg loved learning it.

@a.n.u.mumbai is the reason behind us knowing about this slokam and learning it so easily. I must admit it is a little tough one with long sanskrit words. You made it a cake walk for us mami!! Thank you for telling us about this slokam, explaining the meaning and breaking the words for us to grasp it easily!! 🙏😊

P.S : Mami also told us this sloka if chanted by unmarried girls with faith and affection will soon help in finding a suitable groom!!
