It’s hard to believe that DragonCon was a week ago! It feels like it’s been simultaneously shorter and longer than that! This is just one of many brilliant shots by DragonCon’s resident Mad Scientist with a Camera, Bryan Humphrey!

After our photoshoot amongst the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin in DC, we headed over to the old St. Elizabeth’s psychiatric hospital so it could serve as a stand-in for the ruins of the X-Mansion. Hoping to get back there again for another shoot someday as it makes for an excellent background. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a karate pic and I really should get more pics like this in cosplay. My kilt is a custom order from @cloudkilt.usa

Katsucon last year was great fun! I spent a lot less time as Wolverine than previous events, but really enjoyed displaying my versatility!

This great pic is one of very few that I had taken while in my new custom kilt from @cloudkilt.usa that is the centerpiece of my original cosplay idea combining Logan’s Ultimate universe uniform with a kilt. So glad I have it and need to find time to wear this cosplay again!

$Happy New Year!!! I think most people have been looking forward to saying that this year more than most! I’ve described this year as a hamster wheel riding on a roller coaster and will be happy to leave it behind like everyone else. In spite of this year being a bit of a pain, I still had a ton of fun and made it to three cons before things locked down: MAGFest, AniMore (1st time!), and Katsucon. I even hosted the official X-Men photoshoot/meetup at Katsucon, which was a first for me and a great time! Bringing the Hellfire Club as surprise cosplays to that with my folks was great fun and it was a personal highlight shooting with @odfel as Black Queen Jean Grey later in the year. I also debuted eight new cosplays, upgraded/refreshed two others, and participated in several photoshoots/meetups both at and away from cons. Even though the con schedule for next year is still up in the air at the moment, I hope I get to see as many of you as possible at some future event or meetup in 2021! Wishing all of you boundless happiness and prosperity in the year ahead!!! 🎊2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣🎊 Guests in my Top Nine: @kazu_ortiz as Jonathan Joestar @robmar16 as emo Peter Parker @wholesomelyl3wd as Psylocke @wyclefcupcake & his son as Colossus @barclay93 as The Lizard @white.oaks.walkers as Jotaro Kujo 🎉 📷 Photo credits: @jackrammyz @joseizquierdophotography @white.oaks.walkers @anjin.san.cosplay 🎉 \|/\|/ Adamantium claws by @darkmatterprops Custom Kilt by @cloudkilt.usa Bone Claws, Hermit Purple, Mr. Fantastic fist, & Ultimate Nullifier by @anjin.san.cosplay 🎉 Honorable mention: my Loggins cosplay was narrowly edged out, but I was really happy to pose with @jessilyncupcake because she made my day with her reaction to my obscure cosplay! 🎉 #topnine #bestnine #topnine2020 #bestnine2020 #topninecosplay #bestninecosplay #cosplay #cosplayer #cosplaying #cosplaylife #cosplayphotography #cosplayersofinstagram #josephjoestar #jojocosplay #jotarokujocosplay #jonathanjoestarcosplay #wolverine #wolverinecosplay #patchcosplay #emopeterparker #peterparkercosplay #psylockecosplay #colossuscosplay #reedrichardscosplay #lizardcosplay #2020 #happynewyear #happynewyear2021 #katsucon #katsucon2020$

Renaissance Reed meeting with his Future Foundation counterparts is something I don’t think anyone at Marvel has ever thought of doing! It was great seeing @thors_woman_cosplay again and meeting @dinglehoppercosplay at the @baltimorecomiccon last year!

I didn’t have my bone claws with me to get my usual WolveRogue pic, but still wanted to get a pic with this fantastic Rogue cosplayer at Katsucon anyway. I really need to get more pics in my kilted version of Ultimate Wolverine! I actually had this custom kilt made by @cloudkilt.usa and love it. [Edit] Rogue is @samspics118 , thanks again for posing with me!
