A bit of Japanese engineering, a bit of Yorkshire sunshine… and a frosty breeze.

So good to see so many of you down for Made in Japan today, featuring @stoneacre.motors. Some incredibly special machinery, plenty of familiar faces and lots of new ones too.

Big thanks to @monsterenergy, @clucking.oinks and @twmotorsofficial for joining us and adding to the day.

But most of all, thank you to everyone who brought a car, brought a mate or just came for a wander. You’re what makes The Motorist, and days like this remind us exactly why we do it!

Same again for Coffee & Cars tomorrow?

£6 for lunch in Newcastle city centre?! 👀

We headed to STACK to have a little work our way through some of their lunchtime meal deals and there’s actually loads to choose from across the different vendors.

We tried pizza, wings & chips, a gyros box and a gyoza rice bowl and every single one was just £6 🙌

Perfect if you’re in town, on your lunch break or just fancy some cheap scran without being stuck with the same option every time.

⏰ Monday to Friday, 12-3pm
💰 £6 meal deals

For six quid, you really can’t complain 👏

AD - Invited.

• Clucking Oinks - York •

The cheese pull of ALL cheese pulls at @clucking.oinks ❤️‍🔥🤝🏼

The ‘Nashville Mozzy Stick’ is deep fried, coated in Nashville oil, dusted with Nashville powder and served with a delicious homemade ranch sauce for dipping 🤤

A must try in York - Already can’t wait for my next visit!

@clucking.oinks is a heavy weight of the fried chicken game founded by married couple Mike and Rachel about 9 years ago. They have been voted best fried chicken in the midlands and the North of England at the deliveroo awards. I missed them at Burgerfest this year as I was simply too full.
I was not charged for my food but as always I give an honest opinion.

It’s National Burger day! This German export is one of the most consumed foods with hundreds of millions of burgers eaten daily (McDonalds sells 6.5 million burgers a day alone 😱).

To celebrate this delicious day, here’s our top Burgers we’ve eating recently

The Brisket Burger - @farsleyfiresmoke Leeds Xmas Market.

Whilst not strictly a burger, it has all of the delicious elements needed to make our list

The Bacon Cheese Smashburger - @flipadelphia_asm

Juicy, oozing cheese, well seasoned beef, simply stunning….what more can you ask for from a smash burger.

The All America @clucking.oinks

Juicy fried chicken, pickles, cheese sauce and bacon. You may think you’ve had a good chicken burger, but trust me, this is on a whole other level.

The BBQ Supreme & The Couch Potato @theotleyburgercompany

In our opinion the best burgers we’ve ever tried. The BBQ supreme contains delicious beef, smokey BBQ sauce, melted cheddar, mozzarella, onion rings, crunchy onion pieces and maple-cured streaky bacon.

The movie marathon inspired Couch Potato featured delicious beef, peppered pastrami, montagnolo creamy blue cheese, caramelised onions, salted crisps and creamy mayonnaise.

Both burgers were bloody outstanding.

Where’s your favourite burger spot?
