Hoy abrimos con “On the Deuce”.

¡Viernes de novedades en Casa Folc‼️

✴️ FOLC291 RUBY AND THE CLUMSY DOLLIES "New and improved" ✴️

⚠️ For buyers from USA and Australia!!! Please, write us to folc.records@gmail.com if you want to get the album. Shipping costs are mental these days to your countries, but we can inform you how to get the record in your countries.

NEW SINGLE: New York rock ‘n’ roll group Ruby and the @clumsydollies release the 2nd single from their forthcoming debut album, New and Improved, on @cheersquadrecords .

The band’s first single from the album was the fast-paced, ramalama rock ‘n’ roll shakedown of ‘Too True For You’, its guitars jangling and riffing with dirty fuzz, like a lost gem from the Buzzcocks or the Ramones. The song has had more than 100 plays on Australian radio – reaching #4 on the national Community Radio Rock Airplay Charts, plus spins on Little Steven’s Underground Garage and New York’s WFMU.

Now, following a successful run of Australian live shows late in 2025, the band release their second single, ‘Right Through Me’. The sublimely melodic single rides a reverb-laden rhythm— all groove and beautifully interwoven guitars that imbue the garage rock sound with a dreamy, tropical quality.

“It’s the first song on the record, and the most vulnerable in my opinion. It encapsulates the feeling of communicating without saying a word and being able to read someone’s mind (unspoken communication, emotional transference),” explains founder and front woman Ruby Rogers-Garcia. “It is reflective of the occurrence of someone knowing you more than you know yourself and the fear that comes with that.”

For Fans Of: Ramones, Link Wray, The Primitives, Chuck Berry

Many thanks to @backseat_mafia for the wonderful premiere/review of the new single from Ruby and the Clumsy Dollies @rubyrogersgarciaaa and the @clumsydollies , ‘Right Through Me’, out officially on Bandcamp and streaming services tomorrow.

Debut album coming in April, via @cheersquadrecords !

“There is an indelible pop melody with hints of sixties girl groups like The Ronettes mixed in with a Sarah Records/C86 indie sensibility, all beehive haircuts, kohl eyeliner and a thousand yard stare. It’s garage rock with a velvet lining, leaning nonchalantly against a wall with a cigarette and a Jack Kerouac novel tucked under the arm.” - @arunkendall
