A DISAPPOINTING ENDING, BUT A NEW CHAPTER FOR JONAH. Watching the Throwback Boyz get dismantled was heartbreaking. This season brought so many emotions and more tears on the ride home than people will ever know. Through it all, one thing remains the same: JONAH JUST WANTS TO PLAY FOOTBALL. He wants to compete, learn, grow, and do what he loves. As a parent, sometimes you have to make difficult decisions. We had to make a move to give Jonah the opportunity to finish this season strong and continue getting better. Some may call Baller U a step down, but I call it a STEP IN JONAH’S DIRECTION. Every move doesn’t have to make sense to everyone. I have to do what’s best for MY CHILD! 💯 Youth sports have become filled with too much negativity. Grown men talking about kids, coaches not being straightforward and honest about situations, and adults forgetting that these are CHILDREN with dreams, feelings, and a love for the game. Youth sports should be about development, discipline, teamwork, and building character not egos and negativity. LET THE KIDS PLAY! I want to thank everyone from the Heat organization and DMVU organization for the experiences, memories, and lessons along the way. I appreciate everyone who genuinely poured into Jonah. @dmvu__dabigshow10u @jayford @norellmarshall Now we’re turning the page. New environment, new energy, same determination! We aren’t chasing opinions; we’re chasing growth. 💪🏾 Jonah, We see your heart, your hard work, and your love for this game. Every detour is not a dead end. Sometimes it’s a redirection. THIS ISN’T THE END OF THE STORY. IT’S A NEW CHAPTER.

🏈🖤🩶💙 FIRST GAME. NEW TEAM. NEW CHAPTER. I’m PROUD of Jonah! Period! 👏🏽👏🏽 Did we get the W? Nope. And that’s okay. Every game ain’t gonna be a win. What I saw was a kid who played almost the ENTIRE game BOTH sides of the ball and gave it everything he had. 💪🏽🔥 This is a NEW team. We’re learning each other. We’re learning the system. We’re building chemistry. We’re figuring out how everybody fits together. WE HAVE TO MESH. That doesn’t happen overnight. But WE’RE IN THIS! 🗣️💯 We’re going to watch the film, fix what needs fixing, sharpen those techniques and get BETTER. That’s what football is about. And now let me say this because apparently some folks need a reminder… THE NEGATIVITY TOWARD THESE KIDS NEEDS TO STOP. 🚨 Especially from GROWN MEN. 👀 Sir… you are a grown man on social media going back and forth about CHILDREN playing football. 😂 Please find something else to do. These boys are 10 and 11 years old. They are learning. They are growing. They are going to make mistakes. They are going to have great games AND tough games. That’s part of being a kid and part of learning the game. You don’t have to like the game. You don’t have to agree with every decision. But tearing down a child on social media? THAT AIN’T IT. We’re not doing negativity over here. We’re going to SUPPORT these boys, encourage them, coach them up and let them PLAY. 🗣️ Jonah keep your head up, keep working, stay coachable and keep grinding. One game doesn’t define you. One loss doesn’t define this team. Back to the lab. 🧪🏈 WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED. And to anybody watching from the sidelines with something negative to say… Respectfully, keep scrolling. 😂✌🏽 🖤🩶💙 DMVU DA SHOW 56 #DMVUDaShow #BackInTheLab #WeInThis #KeepWorking #TrustTheProcess ProudMom BigManWork FootballFamily
