I wrote a song to commemorate #WorldMentalHealthMonth.

This year's theme, 'Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change' centers around ensuring that people with mental health conditions are involved in decision-making about mental health care.
This is for you, friend.😊

Special thanks to the extra hands who were a part of making this project come alive;

The visuals and video editing by The Re-Mind @victory_ozoma,
And the sound score and music production by The AyoInspired @officialayoinspired.

Throwback to the conference I attended in Augusttt. 🌝🔥

Slide 1: self-explanatory. 🌝

Slide 2-6:
Somewhere along the line, I realized that we've changed. We've grown; we're growing. We are no longer the 200-level guys that used to go for conferences in Faith, not really knowing what to expect ( of course we still go in faith, just more solid and expectant now).
Look at us now; see how far God has helped us.
Inserts Deborah. 🌝

Thank God for President Joannah and her girls who came to talk to our class when we got to Sagamu. Thank God for Dr Praise and the others who encouraged me to join CMDA and attend the conferences. I remember that a simple high five she gave when we met always made my day.
How can I forget Dr Ore and Dr Demilade, who are still a gift to me to this day? And Dara. She is always so enthusiastic about CMDA conferences.
Truly, God gives good gifts.

God willing, I'll be attending JnC 2028 as a final-year student and the next National Conference after that year as a doctor.

Slide 7: Two of God's gifts to me. 🤗

Slide 8: CMDA-OOUTH family (some of us).

Slide 9: CMDA NIGERIA STUDENTS National Conference 2026.

A month later, and I can finally share this 🥳
This conference was such a huge learning experience for me — not just as the Assistant media lead, but also as a drone pilot.

I am genuinely grateful to have been part of the Organizing committee and to have contributed in my own little way, to documenting such a memorable conference.

And honestly, I'm really happy to share my first-ever drone coverage 😌

Grateful for the experience, the people and the opportunity @cmda_ubth @cmdanigeria

I'm also very grateful to Dr Shred @shred_daniel , who taught how to pilot a drone prior to the conference... Thank you for the time, patience and knowledge you shared with me 🤲🙌

Exactly a month ago, I packed my bags and left for Benin City, Edo State.

And honestly, I had my best experience there.

I met God, most importantly, and I met wonderful people.✨

I learnt, I unlearned, I relearned.

I got full understanding of why I am where I am.

Thank you CMDA-UBTH for hosting us. @cmda_ubth
Thank you CMDA Nigeria. @cmdanigeria
God bless CMDA.

And yes, we can call this Postcards from Benin.✨

P.S: This pictures were arranged in descending order🙂,i.e, from Day 3 to Day 1.

Your phone may be making everyone money except you.

Think about how many times your phone rings in a week.

A colleague wants advice.

A friend needs an introduction.

Someone wants your opinion.

A customer needs help.

A younger professional wants guidance.

You answer.

You listen.

You solve the problem.

Then everybody continues with their day.

Nothing unusual happened.

Or did it?

Because somewhere inside that conversation, something changed.

A decision was made.

A mistake was avoided.

Confidence increased.

A problem disappeared.

Value moved.

Yet economically, we often behave as though nothing happened.

That's interesting.

We monetize transportation.

Accommodation.

Entertainment.

Delivery.

Attention.

Even spare rooms.

Yet millions of valuable human conversations still sit outside structured economic systems.

I'm not suggesting every conversation should become transactional.

That would be ridiculous.

I'm asking a different question:

When expertise creates measurable value, why do we automatically assume the conversation carrying it should have zero economic value?

My Builder's Lens

Builders don't begin with products.

They notice valuable behavior already happening and ask:

"What system is missing?"

Sometimes the next market isn't somewhere in the future.

It's already happening on your phone.

Builder Question

What do people repeatedly call you for?

We bless God for the just-concluded National Conference for the CMDA Students’ Arm. This conference was not just another regular one; it was a gathering where over 2,000 medical and dental students from across the country came together in one accord and in one spirit to worship the Father.

Beyond this, we had several sessions on important topics pertaining to medical students, including leadership, relationships, financial literacy, and even our academics, because doing excellently in our academics is also a show of our service to God.

We thank God for journey mercies to and fro across all chapters. We thank God for the opportunity He gave us as a chapter to be a part of this powerful gathering. Indeed, our altars will forever burn.

Thank you, CMDA Nigeria @cmdanigeria .
Thank you, CMDA UBTH @cmda_ubth .

It’s been over a week since I got to experience NC 2026, and its impact still echoes in my mind. Its flames still burn ablaze in my soul.

Once again, I was reminded that I did not come here,to this life, to this profession, by chance.

I was made, and called for this life by God, and I will do his will.

Grateful for the experience of Burning altars.
Grateful for the gift of CMDA

‎Academics makes one pillar of CMDA, and as medical and dental students, we aim to be proficient in our endeavors.💯
‎
‎During the second day of the conference— after the theme exposition, we had an Academic session, where Dr. Roli Madubuko, a Consultants Dermatologist and a practitioner, from @cmda_ubth spoke to us on the topic, "Exam malpractice: A Biblical Guide".
‎
‎She didn't come to give us a "ten step to success" lecture, but using the insightful and wonderful testimonies she was privileged to have, she spoke to us what God had impressed on her to speak.🤍
‎
‎Two things I got from what she kept emphasizing was:
‎
‎1. Do not forsake integrity: Sometimes, life will present you a test, and God will be checking if you will comprise or if you are trustworthy— God always has a blessing He wants to give you. (Leviticus 19:11)
‎
‎2. The Holy Spirit— God, is more interested in your academic excellence than you are, so trust Him, as you do your part by studying diligently. (Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 22:9)
‎
‎As a child of God, in whatever field you may find yourself in, this is what you must live by:
‎
‎"Having done your best, it is better to fail with Christ than pass with the enemy— by compromising the ways of righteousness".

HOSPITAL EVANGELISM – UPTH

Hospital Evangelism was carried out at the Antenatal, Postnatal and Gynaecology Ward of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) by 26 CMDA members, comprising students from the 200 and 500 levels, alongside the School Executives.

A total of 24 patients were reached. We shared the Word of God with them, encouraged them in their different circumstances, prayed with them, and also presented gifts as an expression of love and care.

Doing the Father’s assignment comes with sacrifice, but we are reminded that blessings follow obedience and service to God. We are grateful for the opportunity to partake in His work and to be vessels of His love, hope, and healing to others.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9

We are glad to serve. We are glad to partake. ❤️
