So much energy, so many memories, there is no experience in this world like the NYC Marathon. So much led to this point, months of training, an injury that kept me from running for the better part of 6 weeks leading to the marathon, a new injury that sprung itself early on into the race. I contemplated everything mid race, even got to the biggest moment of self doubt in my life. But I willed through and finished. At the end of the day, I wanted to cross that finish line and say “I fucking did it” So yes, at the end of the day, I finished the New York City Marathon. Not how I planned, but exactly how it was meant to happen. The city’s energy, my family, friends, faith in God, and everyone who believed in me carried me when my body & mind wanted to quit. Yesterday reminded me I can do hard things, even when it feels like it’s all crashing down. Proud, grateful, and forever changed by this race. Grateful to have had the opportunity to run with @teamforkids Earned my medal, earned my poncho, and no one can ever take away the fact that I ran - and finished - the NYC Marathon 🗽 💙🧡@nycmarathon Looking forward to experiencing this all over again next November, finishing at my pace this time. Swipe to the end to see what I was dealing with the whole time 🙃 stress fracture in my ankle at mile 6 - ran 20.2 to finish - no one can ever take that from me. One hell of a story, one hell of a day🤍

Just in time for hurricane season! This homeowner inquired about a bathroom, but the expert at Nicholas Contracting did a full home inspection and found multiple issues with their roof (including MOLD in the attic!) 7 days from launch of project to completion to give this homeowner the protection they need. For his efforts to help the homeowner, The expert won an all expenses paid trip down the shore and is employee of the month! Congrats @cmfrascone !!!
