We’re so thankful for all of you who came out on Wednesday evening to support our organization's launch!

Dozens of artists, creatives, and industry leaders came together to support @zushagoldin and his launch of “Comments for Peace,” and to support the next generation of Jewish talent!

@cmpekar debuted a beautiful array of Kabbalistic paintings created solely for our event, and @nissimagarcia used her talents to sculpt a unity sculpture we unveiled.

Dreams do come true! For many years, I’ve wanted to create a photo exhibit that truly makes an impact in Manhattan, surrounded by family and friends, and change-makers.

This was the launch of my nonprofit profit @artistsforunityinc and my new exhibit “Comments for Peace,” I can think of no better a movement or exhibit to have made this for.

I worked INSANELY hard for months to make this a reality, and honestly, I’m really proud of myself.

Don’t heed the tales spun about Vashti; she championed the essence of consent, refusing to be deemed anyone’s property - willing to die for her bodily agency. Our journey in rallying for Malky’s autonomy over these nine weeks has been an eye-opener regarding consent. Malky herself, having only a fleeting 10-minute encounter with Volvy before their marital union, could hardly be said to have truly consented to her marriage. The women who have chosen to abstain from intimacy, standing in solidarity with Malky’s four-year plight, face criticism for asserting their bodily autonomy. Yet, Vashti remains an inspiration: a testament to the belief that no one has the right to claim ownership over another’s body. Here’s to you, Vashti, for setting a bold example. FREE MALKY.

We pixelate an image to hide an identity, to shroud an image in a veil of secrecy and take away the features that make the image unique.
These days, women are growing used to seeing their images pixelated and blurred or even erased in a tragically misdirected push for modesty.
But our heritage is filled with women who have never been shrouded in silence and anonymity.
We are a nation of strong women.
Of Yocheveds and Miriams.
Of Tzipporahs and Devorahs.
We are a nation of Esthers.
Of women who have always been front and center, never hidden by pixels or blurred out with a wave of photoshop and filters.
If we eliminate our women - if we cover them in some implied shame - then we tear away at our very history; we erase the legacy of the the women we look up to, and we destroy our future. We need to remember that frum women have faces so that our children can look in the mirror and see themselves as the leaders we hope they grow into.
Women with fierce pride.
Women with strong values.
Women who are not ashamed to lead.
Women who know they are more than a pixelated image.
