Some asked me to change the sub-title of our upcoming concert from “Negro Spirituals in Concert” to just “Spirituals in Concert.”

But here’s the truth, these songs are not just spirituals. They are Negro Spirituals ,born out of struggle, faith, and resilience. That name matters. To remove it is to soften the history and lessen the weight of what our ancestors endured. I'm sorry to make you feel uncomfortable, but I stand by it. With pride. With respect. With truth.

🎶 "Feel the Spirit" Negro Spirituals in Concert
🗓 Sunday, October 19th, 6:00 p.m.
📍 Central Bank Auditorium

How do you know a musician went to Berklee?…
They don’t stop talking about Berklee 🙄🤣

All small talk aside, these past 10 months were some of the greatest in my life. The people I’ve met at @berkleenyc are some of the best writers, producers, musicians and overall creative people I’ve ever seen! This is not the end but the beginning of working with the best of the best!!

I guess I should look to release the music I actually made here right?
