What happens before a portrait is taken?

Hunting for Strangers understands portraiture as an encounter rather than a representation. Throughout the semester, students approached strangers, started conversations, negotiated trust, and discovered that the image begins long before the camera is raised.

Working with analogue and digital photography, the projects move between closeness and distance, documentation and interpretation. Together, they explore how relationships are created through images and what responsibility comes with looking at another person.

My 2025 recap as a model and photographer 🖤

My personal milestones this year: shooting in a big studio, doing an analog print and shooting medium format & digital (all for the first time)

Most worn outfits and items of 2025!

Kinda crazy to me that this year started of with me being blond haha. Overall I stayed very true to the years prior rocking a lot of my all time favorites like my Peter Do top or the waterfall top I got from vinted years ago. The most worn item is definitely either my coat or my leather jacket thightly followed by my wide leg pants.

Regarding my bottoms this year I tried stepping outside my comfortbox more and actually bought some skirts! Who would have thought I’d actually get a lot of wear out of my MM6 skirt?
Another favorite purchase this year was definitely my first hand bags (like they are so convenient how did I manage without??) and my Bottega Veneta knitted shirt.

Honorably mention: for sure my brendidas which are my most worn shoe this year followed by my boots & tabis.

I‘ve also been kinda unlucky this year and broke the zipper on my old pair of boots, got a hole into my super old bershka wideleg pants I wear nearly every day (it was time to get rid if them) and ripped a thread of of my silky pants which was kinda fixable.

Excited for next year! 🖤
