Tá deireadh ag teacht le Gaeilgheansaí 💚 Tar éis go leor machnaimh, tá cinneadh déanta agam Gaeilgheansaí a dhúnadh 💚 Thosaigh mé an gnó seo in 2019 le grá don Ghaeilge agus le fonn í a cheiliúradh le héadaí. Ní raibh a fhios agam ag an am cé chomh fada agus a rachadh an turas seo! 🙏🏼🥹 Ar an drochuair, mar gheall ar na costais a bhaineann le gnó a rith, ní féidir leis leanúint ar aghaidh Beidh díolachán deiridh ar an stoc atá fágtha agus ní bheidh aon athstocáil ann! Cód = GRMA Go raibh míle maith agaibh as bhur dtacaíocht, bhur n-orduithe agus bhur ngrá don Ghaeilge thar na blianta 💚 xx --- Gaeilgheansaí is closing 💚 After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to close Gaeilgheansaí 💚 I started this business in 2019 out of a love for the Irish language and celebrating it through clothing. I had no idea then where the journey would take me ! 🥹🙏🏼 Unfortunately, the costs of running a business are too high and it can't continue There will be a final sale of all remaining stock and there will be no restocks, code = GRMA Thank you so much for every order, share, message and bit of support and love for the Irish language over the years 💚 xx

📚 Si us agrada la podeu trobar a l'Amazon, Vinted i Wallapop. A l'Amazon també podeu trobar l'edició Gaeilge-Català. Teniu els enllaços a les històries. 💚📔 Every year, I give @noemi.fr a planner. This year, I couldn't find one that I really liked, so I created one myself. It’s a bilingual Catalan-Irish weekly planner that includes a calendar, photographs of Catalonia and Ireland across the different seasons, space for New Year's resolutions, notes, and more. 📚 If you’re interested, you can find it on Amazon, Vinted, and Wallapop. You can also find the Gaeilge-Catalan edition on Amazon. You have the links to the stories. Thanks, @smurphy1.5.1 for correcting the Irish words.

Bhí muid thar a bheith buíoch as Lauren Ní Néill a thug cuairt orainn ag Aoine na Gaeilge chun logainmneacha agus sráidainmneacha áitiúla a phlé linn. Bhain gach duine an-sult as an léargas a tugadh as a dtáinig na hainmneacha fheictear sa Cheathrú Ghaeltachta agus an nasc atá acu le crainn dúchasacha na háite We were grateful for Lauren Ní Néill who paid is a visit to give us an insight into the origin of our local place names and street names. It was fantastic to learn about where many of the names come from that we see in Gaeltacht Quarter,in particular those relating to native trees to the area #Gaeilge #Cultúr #Teanga

Chroch baill CATU comharthaí timpeall chathair na Gaillimhe inniu, chun aird a tharraingt arís eile ar léirscrios Airbnb sna ceantair Ghaeltachta agus ar fud na tíre. Ní amháin go mbagraíonn sé na pobail ina mhairimid ach cuireann sé an teanga i mbaol. I ngach teach tá turasóir in áit teaghlaigh.  Caithfidh muid éilimh go gcuirtear i bhféidhm na rialacháin atá ann faoi láthair chun na dtithe seo a bhaint ón ‘margadh gearrthearmach’ agus ar ais ag an pobail.  Dé Sathairn, 24 Deireadh Fómhair, beidh CATU na Gaillimhe, Threshold agus TINTEÁN i gcóir turas siúil timpeall na ceantracha i measa de Airbnbs sa chathair. Ag tosnú ag dealbh Liam Ó Maoilíosa ar An Fhaiche Mhór ag a 14.00.  Glac ballraíocht le CATU agus troid. Tithe Do Dhaoine, Ní Chun Saoire ____________ CATU members erected signs around Galway City today, to highlight again the devastating impacts of Airbnb in Gaeltacht regions and across the country. Not only does it threaten the strength of communities, it also threaten the Irish language itself. In every home there is a tourist instead of a family.  We have to demand of our local and national representatives to enforce the legislation which already exists to take these homes of the short-term market. This Saturday, October 24th, join CATU Galway, Threshold and TINTEÁN for a walking tour taking in some of the worst Aribnb black spots and the real impacts they are having.  Beginning at the Liam Mellows Statue at 14.00 Join CATU and fight. Minister Dara Calleary approves €5.4m for redevelopment of Conradh na Gaeilge Headquarters in Dublin. This historic building at 6 Harcourt Street is being developed under the National Development Plan as a centre for the Irish language in Dublin. It will create a dynamic historic experience for the public and for tourists in the city and will provide office space for Irish language organisations such as Conradh na Gaeilge, Oireachtas na Gaeilge and Raidió Rí-Rá. 6 Harcourt Street is one of three major Gaeltacht capital projects that are advancing in the Department along with the €35m redevelopment of Inis Oírr pier and the construction of a multi-million-euro Education and Youth Centre in Indreabhán, Co. Galway. https://loom.ly/9XpFkMI
