Old Market 50 Faces, 50 Stories | Christina Narwicz

“Art is how I interpret the world—and the Old Market keeps me curious.”

Christina Narwicz is a visual artist whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. A former Artist-in-Residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Christina draws inspiration from color, nature, and the textures of everyday life. Living and creating near the Old Market fuels her creative process with energy, character, and surprise.

Her story is one of exploration, perspective, and the power of place.

This unframed triptych by Christina Narwicz from Onessimo Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens was the perfect addition to this space. I love how her use of texture and color brings nature to life in such a dynamic way. This piece felt especially personal, evoking memories of a home the client owns in Idaho—nature, memory, and style captured across three panels.

This 8,000 sq. ft. estate, nestled in the serene, Village of Golf, has been a canvas of creativity and family legacy for nearly two decades. As a child, I spent summers wandering this very construction site, watching my interior designer mother meticulously collaborate with architects and builders—selecting every custom tile, crafting bespoke baseboards, and thoughtfully curating every architectural detail.
Seventeen years later, I had the privilege to lead the next evolution of this home—refreshing the theater room, the heart of their game-day gatherings, and reimagining the two-story guest house to function as a seamless, elegant living space for guests or a future caregiver.
From sourcing rich textures, layering in warm finishes, to handpicking furnishings and artful accessories, every element was chosen to honor the home’s original craftsmanship while embracing modern comfort and timeless sophistication.
