summer “break”

-arrange
-all state camp
-untapped rehearsals
-annual family road trip
-left the country for the first time (huge)
-Czech trip was life changing and I haven’t processed enough to comment farther (yet)
-untapped retreat (super jet lagged)
-did some orientations but not as many as other boey
-hung with my family
-got a boyfriend who wakes me up with breakfast in bed what
-tried to fix cam’s car
-hung with friends
-rearranged my room
-baked cheddar bacon chive scones yes this is just as significant as singing overseas

and we will all ignore that I forgot to make my end of semester post. It’s done I just never posted it. Oops!

This short clip captures a moment I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

I couldn’t pick just a few pictures from camp, so here’s the one video that says it all.

This week changed me. It reminded me how quickly time passes and how important it is to stop wishing moments away. Before you know it, the moments you never wanted to end become memories. Cherish every rehearsal, every conversation, every laugh, and especially every person you love in your life.

To my fellow interns: I love every single one of you. Thank you for making this week one I’ll never forget. I’m so blessed to share the gift of music with people, not only as an educator, but alongside such incredible colleagues and friends. When I turned and saw everyone dancing and singing, it made my heart so full, thank you for making that moment so special for me!

Being intern section leader was such a cool opportunity. I'm so glad I got the chance to test my leadership skills and grow in this position. And so honored to be trusted with this responsibility as a second year intern. This camp was SOOOOOOOO much fun and I can't wait to (hopefully) come back next year!!!

💚🎶All State Choir Camp 2026🎶💚

I was so nervous going into this camp, about meeting the campers, working with a new team, and doing something different from what I know. But I quickly learned that these nerves were unfounded because this team was made up of some of the most amazing people I have the pleasure of knowing. And because of that, all other worries of campers and schedules went away. Thank you to everyone who gave me this opportunity, my teammates who helped me when I fell down, and my campers for being the biggest light throughout this experience! I love each and every one of you 🫶🏻

proof of life after not posting for over a year:

what a time! had an absolute blast (don’t get me wrong i was absolutely in the trenches during the semester but now that the sun is out we are past that), made tons of new friends and played tons of great music! thank you everyone i have shared a stage/venue with in the last year, i have grown and learned a lot from each and every one of you and look forward to continuing that path this fall. for now, time to be outside ☀️☀️
