INTRODUCING EMERGENCE ‘27 🤩

Next up we have…

Cansu Koroglu
@cns.koroglu_

Born and raised in Izmir, Türkiye, Cansu began her dance journey with baby ballet at the age of 3. After moving to England at 11, she expanded her training with ISTD Modern, Jazz, RAD Ballet and Russian Ballet.
In 2019, Cansu joined Melody Squire’s Sol Dans Youth, participating in weekly training and dance film projects. In 2023, she toured with Project Dance’s original production ‘Growing Pains’, which was created, rehearsed and toured within two weeks.
Cansu began her BA (Hons) Professional Dance Performance, specialising in Contemporary Dance, at London Studio Centre in 2023, supported by an Exceptional Talent Scholarship. She later transferred to Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she completed her BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance degree.

During her time at Trinity Laban, Cansu worked with Tough Boys on their commission ‘The End’, touring local schools, and completed a placement with Motionhouse in Leamington Spa. Her passion for creative collaboration and choreography continued to grow throughout her training, shaping her artistic identity and approach to movement.

Alongside her training, she teaches dance and is pursuing a Personal Trainer qualification. Outside the studio and gym floor, she can be found crocheting and trying new recipes.

Can’t wait to see who is next!
