I am incredibly excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic careers at Carson-Newman University! First, I want to give all the glory to God for giving me the ability to achieve this dream and guiding me through this decision. I want to thank my amazing coaches at Team Charlotte, Steve, William, and Rob for sparking my passion for swimming, encouraging me, and guiding me to success. Thank you to my amazing family and friends for supporting me every step of the way. And finally, a huge thank you to Coach Aaron and Coach Ethan for giving me this amazing opportunity! I am so excited for the next 4 and can't wait to be a part of the Eagles family! @cnswim

I am extremely excited to announce that I will be continuing both my academic and athletic careers at Carson-Newman University!
I would like to thank Coach Aaron and Coach Ethan for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this program. I also want to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for always pushing me to be the best version of myself.
Not many people know this, but 4–5 months ago I almost stepped away from swimming for good. It was everyone around me who encouraged me to keep going, and without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am forever grateful for each and every one of you.
Last but certainly not least, I want to thank God for not only giving me the opportunity to continue my athletic career at the collegiate level, but also for allowing me to grow in my faith at a Christian university.
